Great for events, this is a rental photography/video/production studio in the hot neighborhood of Eagle Rock. Rates can vary based on amount of people, time, and overall scope of event. Rates may increase on events larger than 75 people. We have one bathroom. Events larger than 75 people may want to bring in a portable restroom. We have referrals. We have great vendors to refer. Weddings may be a flat rate, ranging from 1650-2250 depending on details. Please message me to discuss pricing options.
FAQ's and Rules. -Noise till midnight on Fri/Sat. Example event rental would be 7pm-1am: 7-8 Prep 8-12 event 12-1 Cleanup. We won't go later but are happy to start earlier. Our space has a nice ambient vibe already so decorating is a personal choice. Not a necessity. However, if you choose to decorate, please budget your time accordingly. Some elaborate events have booked many hours in advance of the event to prep. Vendors: We have vendors to refer at no markup. You don't have to use them. We only require that delivery/pickup of items are prompt to your schedule. Deliveries should arrive at the start of your rental time and pickup at the end of your event. Our vendor will do that. Parking: Lot's of options. Our lot holds 8 normal sized cars in tandem. There's unrestricted street parking on our block, there's a $2 lot after 6 at the Chase Bank next door, cheap public parking across Colorado, and you can buy the empty private lot across the street for $150 but you'd be dealing with the owner directly. Tables/Chairs: We have 2, six foot tables and a few chairs. If you want to do the full sit down, we can refer vendors who will deliver/pick up. Sound System: We have a mixer with 12 inputs and QSC k12 speakers you can plug into or control via wifi/Sonos. Yes, a band can perform, and yes you may have a DJ. They can bring their speakers or plug into ours. No charge. Lighting: We have a nice mix of multicolor LED lights and Edison bulbs making a cool vibe. Outside Catering: Sure. We don't have a cooking kitchen but caterers can bring in their gear to prep. Yes, you may use our fridge and sink. We can also refer a few. Food trucks: as long as they're under 34 feet, we love them. Alcohol: Fine for private events as long as you're giving it and not selling it, and are of legal drinking age. Everyone must act responsibly. No illegal activity. -We currently have an in-house cleaning crew. Their fee is included with the booking. You can also hire them to clean/bus during the event for an additional $20/hr if you like. -Rental time is based on studio manager time. From the time anything is delivered for prep or decoration, to the time everyone is gone and the event is completely cleaned/erased. -Early arrival can result in either waiting until your contracted start time or the clock starting early which could result in Overtime at the end of the night. -$500 fee if anyone at your event throws up...so don't invite amateurs. It will fall on you. -Smoking in parking lot only. -No confetti or glitter. -No illegal activity. -We may require you hire security at $25/hr depending on the event.
Lee was a very hospitable host. I felt like a guest in his home. He was very willing to share with me things that we had forgotten or couldn’t locate in our own supplies. He was quite cooperative and that’s what you look for in a host when it’s also your birthday and you are throwing your own birthday party! I can’t thank you enough Lee! He gets a 4.5.
Lee was a great host who has created a very stress-free environment. Load-in was easy. There were plenty of amenities, props and other studio items available to us. Very smooth shoot.
I had an awesome time at Lee’s space celebrating my 40th! His space is super eclectic and had a great indoor/outdoor experience for my guests! They loved it!
This space was amazing and was a great fit for a birthday party we threw! They had assistants working and were there for help as needed and super great about everything! They had an amazing photo studio area and we had the most amazing photo booth set up! I will definitely keep it in mind for future events or referrals!
