This kitchen & class space is a nonprofit focused on food education. In our 18th Street classroom, we offer classes, events, and workshops that help participants deepen their relationship with food. We go beyond our classroom to offer free cooking classes in low-income communities throughout the Bay Area. Our beautiful classroom space is open during the day almost every day, and occasionally available in the evenings. We have tables and benches for up to 30 people, and can accommodate meetings, retreats, lunches, dinners, and cocktail parties. All rentals include two of our staff members, who will set up the space before you arrive, help with your event, and clean up after you leave. Our day rate (8am-4pm) is $1,000, which includes two staff members on site to serve food, set up, and clean up.

Wonderful space. Lovely time. Party went off without a hitch. Would throw another event here. Theresa and Sarah were super helpful answering our questions before the party.
This is my first time booking through Peerspace as well as booking the venue. Overall, the experience was extremely pleasant. Sarah was very helpful in answering my questions prior to the event. The staff on site were even more helpful in assisting us with the set up, clean up and everything in between. The venue was perfect for our baby shower of around 25 guests. I thought the space was bigger than what I expect as well. I would not hesitate to recommend 18 Reasons to anyone!
This is an amazing space, perfect for learn-to-cook parties and the staff is super helpful. They are so well equipped- and thoughtful. Great natural lighting (love that)!
Loved using this space to teach a large group of teens how to make tortillas and salsas. They had everything I needed and the way the tables are set up allowed us to convert easily from workspace to eating area. Staff is super helpful, too!
The team at 18 Reasons was so helpful and made our team offsite such a smooth, unique, and fun experience! The space was well equipped for us to meet before having a delicious dinner. While we thought we would be doing more cooking, we loved the demonstration given by the chef and the chance to relax and enjoy each others' company over incredible food! The 18 Reasons team was so thoughtful throughout the setup, meal, and even took care of break down. They have such a great mission and it's a lovely, accessible community space. We could not recommend them more!
