Our farmhouse is the perfect location, if you're seeking a unique and rustic property for your event. Our 1800 square foot, two story white farmhouse sits on 4.5 acres, in beautiful Sebastopol, CA. We're located in a semi-rural neighborhood, ten minutes from Highway 101. Classic interior details include wide plank hardwood floors, bright white walls throughout, white wood windows and large wood beams. The kitchen and master bedroom are spacious. Furnishings and kitchenwares are minimal, beautiful and may be used for props. Open pastures, fruit trees and rolling log round fences surround the exterior of the buildings. Out buildings include a large redwood barn, smaller cottage and work room. Simple, uncluttered and anything but formulaic, our property has hosted multiple shoots, weddings and parties. Our lengthly client list includes Pottery Barn, Toyota, Nest, Williams Sonoma, Pendleton, West Elm, Sundance, Cost Plus, Everlane, Frontgate, QVC, Mountain High Yogurt, Chronicle Books, Balsam Hill and Ariat. If you are interested in hosting your wedding here, please note: - Our property is best suited for smaller weddings. - Currently, we have only one restroom. This usually necessitates the rental of a portable restroom for your guests. - We have parking available in our front pastures, but it you prefer a less rustic parking experience, shuttle service would be required. - There may be additional charges, depending on the scope of your event. - You will most likely have to book more hours than you initially think you need. Booking start and end times are inclusive of time required for additional particpating vendors, set up and tear down. No early arrivals, please. Walk throughs are required before and after each booking. We are committed to the success of your project!
Basic cleanup is included. The kitchen may be used for simple food prep. Alcohol is allowed. We can refer you to excellent local restaurants and chefs for catering. Any rearranged furnishings must be put back and floors protected when moving photography equipment, etc.
Michelle was so fantastic as a host. She was responsive and warm. On the weekend of the small wedding ceremony & brunch, she helped out with coordination of vendors (some of which were neighbors). The space itself was beautiful with impeccable weather the day of. Every nook and cranny on the property has a rustic chic feel about it, which our photographers absolutely loved. Whether one is looking for a video shoot, photo shoot, small wedding, or just weekend getaway, this home delivers and the host family will make you feel right at home.
This was a beautiful place to showcase our women's sleep lounge wear line. There's so many spaces, both indoors and out to shoot our pictures. We loved this location and our host, Michelle, made us comfortable with use of her property.
Michelle's location is exceptional. I truly cannot imagine an event that this space would not be perfect for. We did a fashion photo shoot here, and despite an endless flow of mishaps having nothing to do with the space, just being in this beautiful, well maintained, serene environment made everything just fine. Added bonus points for so many unexpected treats-including the fact that she just happened to have harvested extra cucumbers from the vegetable beds out back. Yum.
Michelle and her family were great hosts! Unreal space that gets incredible light. Was so clean and tidy too! Wish we had more than 4 hours here - could spend days! Will definitely be booking again for future shoots. Thank you!
Tucked away in Sonoma this farmhouse styled home is a true hidden gem! With beautiful bright white walls and minimalist styled it's every photographer's dream. This place is free spirited and makes you want to slip off your shoes and walk around in the grass. It was the perfect location for our "How to host a Wine and Cheese Party" shoot and various country styled shots around the property. It's the perfect wine country location.
This farmhouse is such a gem! This was my second time getting to shoot on the property–it's such a dream spot to photograph and I hope to be back again soon!
