SORRY WE ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED IN SEARCH OF A NEW LOCATION PROFOTO Photo and Video Production Studio. We have top of the line Profoto equipment (not the cheap Alien Bees like our competitors). We have a wonderful 650 square foot studio/event space for rent in Downtown Oakland's famous city center and theater district. We are located in front of the Frank H. Ogawa Plaza park, facing Oakland's beautiful city hall. We are also just 50 ft from 12th Street City Center BART station. There is an ADA compliant bathroom and we are right at street level so no stairs or funny access to worry about. Just walk in off the street and you're here. Inside our space, we have 14' high ceilings, a hair/makeup table, and 2 large mirrors for clients to use. The studio is fully stocked and comes with two Profoto 600ws flashes for photos or two 3000 bi-colored dimmable LED constant light panels for videos (please tell us which you will need for your rental, or if you will use your own equipment is okay too). We also have ample photo, video, audio, and lighting equipment if you want to record your event or stream it online. We have a 42" TV, a video projector, and up to 6800ws of Profoto flash power to rent if needed with a small added fee. Used or dirtied background seamless paper is $4/ft unless you’re using our photo/video services also. PRICING: Just $50/hr on Weekdays between 9am-6pm $65/hr on Weekends and Weekdays after hours. Rental time is strictly entry to exit time. Since Covid started in 2020, especially for productions where masks cannot be worn in front of the cameras, we started to have a multiplier to maintain the occupancy to the essential. Productions starting with more than 8 ppl would be $75/hr. COVID-19 Community Commitment and Continuity We’re available and committed to help/serve as much as we can during the current time. We’re constantly sanitizing our space with anti-viral cleaning products, Merv-13 air filters, and UV light sterilization before and after space usage and we also provide hand sanitizers, gloves, and masks for our guests. Please make sure to use hand sanitizer (or wash your hands for min 20sec in the bathroom) upon arrival to our space, and remind all production staff to wear masks and physically distance at all times. Talent being filmed or photographed are the only people who do not need to wear masks at all times. Due to “Shelter In Place” and for the safety of our staff to minimize traveling, our minimum hours requirement will be 3-hours during this lockdown period on weekdays and weekends. We may be flexible depending on the number of guests and whether you need to use our equipment. Remember this is entry to exit time and needs to include set-up and clean-up time which usually takes 15-20min, so if you have a 2-hour shoot, you will need about 3-hours from start to finish.
