We have a big tent and all are welcome. No matter what the size of an event , people always say they feel welcome and comfortable. We have large open spaces for people to gather (standing and seated) that aren’t cold and impersonal. We have 3 distinct offerings: 1) Main room area (pictured on website) can seat 10-50+ people depending on configuration (approx. 2000 sq feet) 2) Library - more intimate than the main area, best suited for 6 guests or less (approx. 500 sq feet) 3) Guest house - 10-15 people (750 sq feet) There is a large yard that can seat 100 people (with chair rental). The yard includes a bocce ball court, pool and zip line. There are 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms available. Possible extended availability, please ask host. Host has catering recommendations if needed. Mandatory in-house onsite coordinator required for all bookings at this venue. Cost is $680 + 5% processing. Please do general light clean up, coasters on all furniture. As promised, this Portola Valley house was beautiful and our participants raved about it's views and calming affect. It really is a stunning property. The process of booking and hosting the event were mostly smooth. However, I'm rating a 4/5 because we were promised the guest house, but turned out to be in use the day of our event and the lunch that was strongly encouraged was mediocre.
This home is beyond gorgeous and a perfect setting for our summer party. Paul and his team (Al and Sharon) were accommodating and very hospitable. A Girl and Her Dragon catered our lunch and it was delicious and it was a great conversation starter to have Kylie whip out pizzas on the spot. The dessert pizzas were great too. I plan to book again with them next year because I don't really think there is a venue that can top this.
We loved our event at this venue! It is such a welcoming, bright, and unique space, and I can't wait to book it again! We used it for a corporate event of ~40 people, and it worked great for a group that size. Sharon was so helpful as our onsite coordinator and helped facilitate and direct our caterer and furniture rental company. She was accessible throughout the day for any questions we had, and was so friendly and helpful!
This is my second VIP event I coordinated for one of our company directors using this venue. His thoughts were “The space was excellent for a business dinner. The venue was warm and spacious for our group of 25. The outdoor and indoor spaces were both beautiful. The open kitchen area was a nice touch without creating a distraction. I would recommend highly.”
This is a beautiful space, and our hosts were very hands-on and accommodating both in preparation for the event and the night of. They met us for multiple site visits (including last-minute visits), and were very helpful in the final lead-up and during the party. The site is more suited to banquets, but they were kind enough to make several exceptions for our larger party.
This is the most beautiful and inspirational blank canvas for you to create a master piece event. Ask the host about the history and story of the land and the house. Rustic, airy and open, the space is truly unique and extremely versatile. Every element of it provides a different vibe (the large lawn, fairy houses, zip line, patios, guest house, main house, chef kitchen, etc.) and yet everything flows perfectly together. There are endless options to orchestra your vision. The only limitation is your imagination. The host was gracious and flexible to accommodate our needs and requests. The coordination service provided was both personal and professional which made our event a success. One of the daughters of the host has a mobile pizza oven business and we used it as part of the catering. IT WAS AWESOME - the idea of it, the taste of the food and all the actions right in front of you! Everyone went the extra mile and we couldn't be happier about how things turned out. Beautiful LEED certified dream home is exactly that. We held our company board of directors dinner there in May 2016. There is so much versatility in the space. It can hold an intimate dinner of 20 without feeling that the space is too large, but I can see the scalability of holding a larger size event without feeling crowded. The venue and grounds are breath taking. The host is gracious and accommodating. It is paired perfectly with an onsite event coordinator and an A+ caterer and floral vendor. A class act. I would book again in the future for any event I needed to do in which this space would be a good fit.
