Our center is available for corporate events, retreats, seminars, company parties, certificate programs, continuing education classes, etc. It is conveniently located near the 101 freeway, but is on a quiet street with plenty of free parking, is in a 3 bedroom house that no one lives in, has spacious front, side, and back yards, a fully functioning kitchen, two bathrooms, and a guesthouse. It offers plenty of free parking, a supportive community, and a peaceful environment. Square footage approx. 1500 Our hours are flexible.
Anyone who is willing to respect the space, and the fact that it is a work space - is invited to use this beautiful space. No added cleaning fee! We charge a $500 refundable security deposit, and expect our renters to return the place as they found it. If that is the case - a full refund is given quickly. Since we are located in a residential area and work hard to be a welcomed part of the neighborhood - commonsense courtesy is needed.
Everyone had a great time at our event and I was asked by multiple people how I found this space and how perfect it was for our event. We planned on using both the home and the backyard and were very fortunate that the weather changed and was in the 70s at night as opposed to in the 40s a week earlier. Siggie and Hayuta could not have been better hosts or more open to what we were doing or more helpful in making this happen for us. Siggie was available for any questions we had prior to the event and responded immediately to any questions we had. On the day of the event when we were setting up they were both there available to answer any last minute questions or issues we had. We brought some food and had other catered, and had full use of the refrigerator and stove as needed. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a reasonably priced area with both indoor and outdoor facilities.
I held a memorial/celebration of life for my mother yesterday at the Good Life Academy. It is such a beautiful, peaceful space and it was perfect. Siggie and Hayuta were so helpful and accommodating while I was planning the event. The guests all loved the venue as well. I would absolutely have another event here.
This space was perfect! It was clean, spacious and useful! The layout was open and inviting. It looked just like the pictures! The host Hayuta was quick to respond, helpful and flexible. We had a wonderful day celebrating the life of my father and all the guests remarked how lovely and peaceful the location was! There was plenty of street parking for my guests.
This space was perfect for our holiday party. Hatuya was very easy to work with, she took the time to show me the place before I booked, answered any questions I had in a timely manner and was very nice. The house is great with an open floor plan. The backyard is big and beautifully lit at night. I would use this place again for a future event.
This was a great event space, Hayuta and Sigge were wonderful hosts, extremely helpful and always willing to answer questions. Quick to respond and very thoughtful, warm, friendly people. We had a 60th birthday party and it was a wonderful space. There was some confusion with the address so if you are using the space, make sure to include the zip code and a cross street on your invitation. Beautiful home and we had a great event!
