Available 7 days a week | 7am - 10pm (firm) A lush artist parlour tucked away in Tribeca. Our space is a fully decorated boutique Event Venue and Meeting Room conveniently located in Lower Manhattan. Featuring artistic decor and curious details, this unique space can host small groups and gatherings. Its intimate atmosphere is perfect for salons, classes, meet ups, sessions, and small shoots. Past events have included: script readings, rehearsals, burlesque classes, group and individual counseling sessions, artist salons, client meetings, bridal showers, birthday parties, marriage proposals, card dice and role-playing games, photo and video shoots. The studio features one large, completely private room. It is fully furnished, decorated and ready to receive guests. The studio has hosted social gatherings of up to 15 people. For seated events, folding chairs can be added for about 12 people. Includes: wifi elevator access work table fridge studio speakers tea and filtered water unique design, decor and furnishings Lighting can be changed from bright working light to a subdued glow for intimate meetings. Very conveniently located. Close to almost every subway. The A, C, E, N, R, Q, J, Z, 1 and 6 trains are all within 3 blocks. Studio dimensions are roughly 14' x 20'. This studio has NO windows! ...But the photo shows a huge windowed balcony?! I know. It's a giant light box built into the wall. It looks and feels like sunlight streaming through the doors when its on, but it's an illusion. Regardless of the actual time of day, you can control the light, easily changing the look from bright daylight to a subdued evening glow. Please note: This listing is for EVENTS at our studio. If you are interested in booking for a production, please click on our profile and inquire through the production listing. Due to its fragile nature, the Giant Fabric Heart will only be available if rented at $35/day. Please be sure your booking includes enough time to set up and wrap up your event. If you intend to arrive more than 10min before your scheduled start time, you must notify us at least 4hrs before your scheduled start time. Your time will start when the first person arrives or when you are scheduled to begin, whichever comes first. Overtime will be billed at 1.5x your hourly rate. Our minimum booking is 3hrs. If our schedule allows, we may be able to accommodate shorter bookings at $150 (firm) for up to 3hrs. This does not include cleaning or processing fees. The operating hours of this studio are firmly 7am-10pm. We do not currently accept bookings outside of this time frame. GLITTER Absolutely no glitter is allowed in this studio and surrounding areas. If there is any glitter left after your booking, we will charge a $100 Glitter Fee. ABOUT THE STUDIO STAFF Burke H. - Owner/Designer of the studio. Director of Photography, Lighting Extraordinaire Ellis R. - Studio Manager. Handles all booking and client services. If you’re contacting this studio, you are mostly likely speaking with Ellis. Happy to help with anything you need. Alicia - Studio Assistant. May be onsite for your booking to assist with any studio needs.
There is no policy regarding eating or drinking, as long as the mess leaves with you. No tobacco products. Storage: We have very limited storage space. If you require space additional to the studio, there is a $50/day fee to use our 25 sq ft Makeup Room. Arrival** - All setup and breakdown time must be included in your booking. - Please do not arrive more than 10min before your booking as we may not be able to let you in the building or studio. If you anticipate needing additional time to set up, please let us know by noon the day before your booking and we will add it to your booking if possible. - Be sure to account for traffic! Your booking will start at the confirmed time whether you arrive on time or not. Departure** - All setup and breakdown time must be included in your booking. - If our schedule allows, we may have a 10min grace period after your booking to break down / clean up. If you require additional time after that, we will add it to your booking. Our OT rate is 1.5x. If your shoot goes beyond 10pm for any reason, the rate is 2x. Giant Fabric Heart** - Use of our beautiful Giant Fabric Heart will be subject to a $35 prop rental fee. Destruction of this prop may incur up to a $350 replacement fee. Cleaning** - The space should be left clean and as you found it. Our cleaning fee covers wiping down tables, sweeping, and taking out bagged trash. If mess is excessive (e.g. wax, spills in the carpeted hallway) we will charge a Damages Fee. - Do not leave any trash outside on the sidewalk. - If you intend to use lit candles, you MUST use proper votives or holders to avoid wax spills. The metal holders tea lights often come in are not acceptable on their own. Glitter** - Absolutely no glitter or other ground cover is allowed in the carpeted hallways outside of the studio. If your shoot involves glitter, sand, confetti, etc., please let us know so we can discuss your options. If there is any debris in the hallway after your booking, we will charge a $100 Ground Cover Fee.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

As always an outstanding experience. Conducive to fashion, boudoir, and retro concepts, a fun place to shoot! I especially enjoy using the decor in black and white. I prefer an interesting background to a cliche backdrop of rolled paper. I recommend the space and its friendly staff to other creative photographers and artists!
