An inspiring space in a prime location in the NE Mission Arts district, this 1200 square foot creative space has breathtaking 180 degree views over the Mission, Twin Peaks and downtown. By day, your event is surrounded by contemporary artwork and high ceilings with abundant natural light. In the evening, you'll see the sparkling lights of the Mission and Twin Peaks through two-story high glass windows, and step out onto the deck for fresh air. We are located close to Coffee Bar, Tartine Manufactory, Central Kitchen, Heath Ceramics and Flour+Water. We are happy to provide our list of recommended caterers. To make sure your experience is exceptional, we remain nearby in the building during your event and are available to provide assistance if needed. Please read our excellent reviews. PLEASE note: We usually book corporate and business events, and very rarely book any private events. We do not allow set up of any kind on the deck but it's fine to bring your food and drinks outside. Important notes: -Catering is welcome, and all cooking must be pre-done off site. Cooking is not allowed on site, but warmers and heated chafing dishes are fine. -If not all arriving at the same time, guests will need to provide a doorman/greeter for guests arriving on the 1st floor. The door is never unlocked and every person will be personally escorted by us via elevator from the ground floor to the 4th floor space. -This is a beautiful space in a shared building and all guests should avoid loud noise in the hallways and in the space. Light music in the space is ok; boom boom party noise, dj or karioke are not allowed. - All chair arrangements, tables, projector and other room set-up requests made in advance will be ready and waiting for you on your arrival. -Your booking time should include your set up and breakdown time. There is a 15 minute grace period for early arrival or late departure. -Please note that the deck does not accommodate any event seating, formal set-up, food or beverage service. -Use of the deck is not guaranteed -Host will be available for you nearby at all times, and may be onsite -Any guests not adhering to these rules will be asked to leave immediately. -Parking on the street is limited by day but ok at night. Taxi, ride share or BART are recommended. -Advance "Scout" site visits are not possible for single day bookings. After booking, you are very welcome to set up an advance visit for your planning purposes. -Due to safety regulations children under the age of 18 are not allowed. This is a building with other people working in nearby spaces and guests are asked to avoid loud group activities or any loud noise that might disturb neighbors. No smoking is permitted in the building or on the deck at any time. Peerspace listings are for commercial & event use. We do not allow overnight stays.
Peggy is the best host you could ever ask for - extremely helpful, and does all the logistics work for you. She checks in to make sure things are ok. She even lcoet me tour the space ahead of time. The space itself is cozy and warm. We had 2 days. On the first day we had close to 27 show up (some extras globbed on at the last minute) and it was feeling tight. The next day we were down to 24 and it felt just right. There were perfect spots for breakout space in the enclave in the front and the loft up the stairs. The patio works well for that too if weather permitting. I thought it would be loud and echoey in the space with so many people but actually it wasn't at all. If the weather is cold tell folks to add a layer, it can get a little chilly (it is an old building!).
We hosted our team offsite at Peggy's loft. The space is a wonderful creative space with high ceilings, artwork, and a lovely deck. I wish we were able to take advantage of the deck but the air quality was so poor due to the wildfires. Peggy was an amazing host. You could not ask for better support for an event. She was quick to respond to all message prior to the event and during our event, she provided everything we needed and was easy to reach throughout the day. I'd book the loft again and highly recommend this space.
Peggy was an amazing host, and her studio space was a phenomenal venue for our team summit. The layout and amount of space were perfect for our group of 18 or so, we got a lot done and were able to collaborate much more deeply than if we'd been in a crappy conference room. We even made some use of the fantastic patio/deck area for breakouts and side conversations despite smoke from the wildfires. (If not for the fires we'd have basically lived out there.) Highest recommendation!
Peggy was an exceptional host. The space was perfect for our executive offsite. Every detail was accounted for, from the white boards to technology hook-up. Peggy went above and beyond, always making herself available and taking care of us from start to finish. This space is a can't-miss. Thank you, Peggy, for a wonderful and productive event!
The space was incredible, and worked perfectly for our event. The mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, especially during sunset, really brought something special to the evening. All of my guests remarked on how beautiful everything was. And Peggy was an absolute delight, easy to work with leading up to and during the event. 10/10 would book this space again.
Our second time booking with Peggy was as perfect as the first! She is a gracious host, who went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed for our 15 person offsite. Peggy stayed on site the whole day to accept catering, bring guests in, and even run up a forgotten charger. I hope to work with Peggy again soon!
