This historic waterfront boatyard with its 20,000 square foot wooden building transports you back in time. The living museum is fronted by a large deck, which is usually covered with all manner of boats under repair. The interior has several large bays with skylights. Many of the woodworking machines, all still in use, date back to between the 1890s and the Second World War. The center is a nonprofit that hosts youth education programs, summer camps, workshops, and guest speakers.
