Limited paid garage parking is available as well ($5/hour). We are also near multiple public transit options and recommend ride share for out of towners. We have multiple restrooms, shelving, kitchenette with sink, cabinets, full size fridge, high end serving platters Our studio is on East 5th across the street from Pueblo Viejo and The North Door, so your taco and music cravings can be cured from breakfast to dinner. As an added bonus, both East 6th districts and downtown are only a block away! Please note that there will be increased pricing during peak seasons, including but not limited to SXSW, the holiday season and East Austin Studio Tour. In-house open air GIF photo booth available for additional fee!
This is a space rental only; coordination services are not included. Renters are responsible for managing the event, including but not limited to arranging furniture, renting additional furniture, decor, supplying bar tools and tableware, managing the catering, etc. You cannot arrive early or stay late without prior consent. If you do, additional fees and penalties will apply as outlined in the Peerspace guidelines. Alcoholic beverages must be served by our TABC certified bartender(s) unless otherwise discussed. The rate is $35/hour (2 hour minimum; a minimum of 30 minutes is required for set up and 30 minutes minimum is required for them to take down the bar). If you wish to supply your own bartender, we must have their TABC certification information no less than one week prior to the event. Please remember to review Peerspace policies prior to booking and include any hours needed for set-up and take down in your reservation.
Such a cool space in East Austin. The space offers a great bar area, easy PA system, and fun environment. We booked in August, so it was a little warm inside - the A/C can’t get below mid-70s, but I would still recommend! What a great space!
This space was perfect for our team workshops and consumer research group session! The coffeeshop next door is great, Amberly was SUPER responsive and helpful - even with crazy last minute changes - and we couldn't have done it without her help. The staff was friendly and attentive, the area is great, and overall, the experience was extremely positive. Thank you so much Amberly!
This space was perfect for our event (a high school reunion of about 70 people). The seating was sufficient, and unlike other venues there was not extra charge for the chairs and tables. I would use this space again. Only suggestion, is to have a DJ if you want the music loud. The in-house stereo system is more like for ambiance but not for dancing (or in our case a lip sync battle). We used a DJ.
I hosted my first photography workshop the past weekend and this was the perfect space! I had around 15 people and everyone had plenty of room to move around and practice shooting, with just the right amount of natural light. The staff was extremely helpful and had everything set up for me the way I wanted! The second day I even asked to add more time to my booking and it wasn't a problem at all! All of my students agreed it was a great location also.
Amberly & her team were a pleasure to work with! They set up the space beautifully for us and made sure we had everything needed to run a successful event. Even with an unexpected change to our program, Amberly's team was quick to accommodate so that everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The space is incredibly dynamic & in a great location, would highly recommend to keep it in mind for your next events!
