We hosted our Yahoo Design Team All Hands Holiday Party at this space last night...and it was PERFECT! Don is a wonderful host and he was great to work with. He was very receptive and responsive to any questions we had and even let us do a site visit several weeks before the event to make sure we planned correctly with the space. The house is absolutely gorgeous, well decorated, and beautifully maintained. We would have loved to enjoy the deck, but it was a rainy night, and we were fine being cozy inside. The house has a very open floor plan that allows for a good number of guests (we had roughly 60) without feeling too crowded. We were able to go through 1.5 hours of presentations, have a fully catered meal in the dining room, and still have space and time for drinks and dessert afterwards. All of our guests raved about the venue and it's safe to say that, if a future event allows, we will be back! Thank you, Don!
This Mountain Retreat is an outstanding venue - immaculately clean, well appointed, great architecture and perfect flow for a gathering. The hiking trails and tennis court add an additional dimension to the experience. The venue is completely private allowing for outdoor walks and talks, and meetings on the deck or by the tennis court without the interruption of strangers. The host is great to work with and accommodating to the particular needs of the group. Highly recommend this venue.
I hosted a company event at Don's home and it was one of the best venues we've rented to date. The space was spectacular surrounded by the most beautiful landscape. Don was so accommodating and easy to work with. Our employees loved being able to take advantage of the tennis courts, basketball and we all thoroughly enjoyed hiking on the trail right behind the home. Perfect space for any team building/company off-sites. We put together a fun "nature" scavenger hunt - many opportunities for unique activities. The space is very unique and right off of 280, super convenient and secluded at the same time. We will definitely be planning another event with Don at his home in the future!! Thanks Don!
This was the perfect setting for our office's retreat. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the rustic setting was truly beautiful. We really loved the convenience of hiking the redwood trails straight from the backyard. We'll definitely be back!
A seamless and perfect experince! The concierge team coupled with the professionalism of the location owner made for an exceptional event. Thank you Don and Julia!
Couple of months ago we started our search for a private location that was secluded but easily accessible and within 30 minutes of San Jose for our reveal shower. After weeks of search we stumbled on this property, it was completely accidental, I wasn't familiar with peerspace so naturally I was skeptical about the listing. It wasn't on Airbnb or any other site...and we could not find it on google earth, but since the property was exactly what we had been looking for we took the chance and contacted Don who promptly responded. He answered all our questions, ask what our needs were and suggested we tour the property before booking. The rate was however a little more than we initially planned, but we couldn't pass it up...the property is very much worth the price. trust me and 60 of our guests. Don was very flexible and accommodating to all our reasonable requests. Our experience with him was exceptional. we highly recommend this property, Don is just icing on the cake!!
This setting, deep in the woods, quiet, very natural surroundings, and spacious, comfortable, well designed interior that was perfect environment for the Editor of National Geographic to present its huge success in 21st century digital, multimedia delivery of its rich content globally. Our audience was a discerning group of Chautauqua Institution annual participants from the Bay Area (western New York cultural center with its own symphony orchestra, opera company, ballet company, music school, and legendary lectures by world class experts, preceding Ted Talks by 120 years. Food was excellent. Staff went above and beyond expectations. And we could walk away without having to do anything but enjoy ourselves. Stephen N. Anderson. Chautauqua West Chairman
