Gallery is available to hire for exhibitions, meetings, networking events, book launches and special occasions. Moments from the beautifully historic Shad Thames and the many bars and restaurants of Butlers Wharf it provides a perfect setting to host a variety of events. Located on the ground floor of an original Victorian spice warehouse, the exhibition space has been fitted out with bespoke hanging screens that offer a unique versatility. The main gallery wall is 10 metres long with white MDF boards for hanging. There is 1 other hanging wall, dimensions 2.6×2.4 metres. There are 2 moveable screens which can be used in a variety of ways to hang work, we recommend a visit to the gallery to discuss the possibilities. There is one further moveable screen with 4 high definition LED monitors that can be used to display image slideshows or presentations. We would be happy to discuss how these can be utilised to your benefit. We can provide tables, chairs and wine glasses free of charge. Room Capacity: 120
- All hire events must be finished by 9pm - The gallery space must be left as it was found by the end of your booking - We do not have a licence to charge for alcohol, so while alcohol may be served during your booking, it must be free to your guests - You may bring your own caterers in, as we have a kitchen for your use - Drilling into existing brickwork for your event is not permitted FOR EXHIBITION HIRE: Prior to the agreement of hire, our gallery must have seen and agreed on all art work to be displayed. The gallery reserves the right to refuse any item of work to be displayed. The hanging of work is the sole responsibility of the hirer. We can accept art work up to 2 days prior to the hire starting. All art work and packaging must be removed from the gallery at the end of the hire. Storage for packaging during the hire is limited and needs to be agreed in advance. Unless otherwise agreed, access to the space is confined to the booked and agreed hire times. FOR HIRE INCLUDING OPENINGS/PRIVATE VIEWS: Access to the space is from 30 minutes before your booking commences. Drinks service is to finish 15 minutes before the end of the hire period. All guests must have left the space by the end of the hire period. We can receive deliveries from 1pm on the day of the hire/event. All rubbish must be removed from the space at the end of your event.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
