Quaint and cozy 500 square feet open air patio, located at the back of my vintage menswear haberdashery on North Avenue, between Rockwell St. & Maplewood St. Situated in Humboldt Park. You will find ample parking and easy access via the Redline train & Rt. 72 bus, or walk from the Blueline Western train stop. The amazing 606 Bloomingdale Trail runs parallel to North Avenue, 2 blocks north. You will find all you need for your event nearby! Walgreens, a liquor store and Cermak Produce grocery store are mere blocks away. (*don't forget lots of ice!) This space would be great for a small dinner party (sit down max 16), reception, presentation or photo shoot. Our estimated maximum guest count would be at 25 people. For a nominal fee, we make available for your use: 3 x 6' tables 1 x 5' round table 1 x 4' table Table linens (white, apple green, red, burgundy, navy, black) Table runner in gold or silver sequins Cutlery (forks, knives, spoons) Serving utensils including tongs White dinner plates Silver chargers Serving bowls, trays, platters, and cake stand Large tub for ice Ice bucket Clear glass desert plates Clear glass wine goblets and champagne flutes Glass vases (variety) JBL Extreme WIFI bluetooth speaker, tablet 10 x 10 pop up tent 20 stackable white chairs 4 benches (flanking the walls, can be moved or removed) *See our "Add-on" package! *due to insurance requirements, ALL TIME on the patio needs to be under contract. We suggest adding and extra 30 minutes for setup time and an extra 30 minutes for tear down. *the latest we can book the space would be 12 midnight. There are residents in the building and we cannot intrude upon their comfort. Feel free to stop by and view the space and see if it will meet your needs. Richard has been an absolutely amazing host - we booked his space for our intimate wedding that we managed to put together in 2 weeks. Richard's patio was all that we could have asked for and more. It's a very nice space for about 20 people and the "extra" package that he provides takes the trouble out of party planning. Richard was amazing to work with, just as everyone has previously said. His rates are affordable and his space is beautiful. It blew all the guests away. His "add-on" package is totally worth it as he has everything you could possibly think of to make the space perfect. I trusted him fully when it came to setting up the patio as I've never thrown a party before. He keeps communication very open and calmed any fears I had. Would definitely book again and my guests were all asking for details so they could book it one day too!

Richard is awesome! I selected the add-on package with my rental for an outdoor brunch and he went above and beyond what I expected. The space was decorated so nicely that I didn’t need to add much else when I arrived. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the event. Richard was super responsive, helpful and had the perfect space. He was very kind and had great suggestions for using the space since I was unsure of where to place the food and beverages. I hosted a surprise party for my husbands 40th and the space was absolutely stunning and went without a hitch. It was during the day and it looked beautiful. The disco ball was up and even during the day it added a fun element! I highly recommend using the space and would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone raves about the space and locale.
