Conveniently located east of Austin's vibrant downtown area, this Charming, Rustic Courtyard is ideal for intimate concerts, family gatherings, special celebrations, wedding receptions and company events. It comes equipped with string lighting, fire pit and performance stage, as well as access to 4 restrooms, our community kitchen and on-site parking for 20 vehicles. This space can be reserved by the hour, day or weekend. Our interior space, which can be added on to your rental for an additional $100 - $200/HR depending on space requested, offers a calm oasis with design elements based on principles of wellness and environmental psychology. You can choose from a first level, 700 sq ft studio space, adjacent to the kitchen or a second level, open 700 sq ft space furnished with tables and chairs. There is also an on-site Vegan Food Truck, which does offer event catering. Please ask for more information.
Please respect the space by removing all trash and food and placing it in the trash receptacle, located in northwest corner of parking lot.
The theme of our party was "camp" so the space was perfect for our rustic needs. Laura and Vegan Nom (Mike) worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Communication was sometimes slow through the process but Laura always answered our questions and did what she could to make sure the space was prepared. We booked the venue based on peer-spaces photos without a site visit. Peerspace used a wide angle lens so the property looked a bit larger in photos and they were also outdated (due to peerspace not updating pics). Laura did a FaceTime walk through of the property with us, which helped greatly. There was no map layout available of the property to include power sources, and square footage (Laura said she is working on getting this.) They had a representative with us through the night as our point person. He was very calm, problem solved a few kinks we ran into, and stayed in the event space the entire time to answer any questions. The event was heavily branded so we brought leaf covered tarps to cover the murals, and some of the parking-lot. There were additional tarps needed to cover some of the dead spaces on the property that had old equipment in them. I suggest doing this if you book. The power sources are spread through the property so depending on your power needs I also advise bringing some very long extension cords. The parking lot was reserved for us. We were able to fit a 26' moving truck through the lot for easy load in, but watch out for the overhead wires! We stopped the truck just before this. If they plan to rent this space more in the future for larger events it would be beneficial to hang a red or neon flag strip from the wire. There were about 25 spots for guest to park and plenty of street parking on a Monday night. Overall we had a wonderful experience through the booking and event processes. Our guest also loved the feel of the space and the casual atmosphere made a relaxed and fun environment. We had 150 in attendance and there was enough space for people to move freely through the fire pit area, stage area, and food area. I recommend booking here. -Lori with Wheelhouse PR Fort Worth, TX
