All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

After a recent renovation, our 1,000+ sq-ft. space is now ideal for baby showers, parties, film screenings, conferences, trainings, workshops, corporate meetings, after-wedding brunches, confirmations, retirement parties, film shoots, performing artists. Beautifully appointed with modern wood furniture, the space features adjustable lights (side-sconces, overhead), a pull-down screen, surround-sound and a small stage for presentations. The banquets and tables comfortably seat 70 people - More people fit comfortably for standing events and when the seats are configured theater-style in rows. WiFi is included, as is an AV projection system that can project from web or DVD or from your laptop. Should you wish to Livestream and record your event, there will be a fee for the tech-person and a fee for utilizing the system. Seven adjustable lights with barn doors, in a ceiling grid, plus various other side-lights, over a small stage - make a big difference. As do our three wall-mounted high-end HD cameras, patched into a system and control room for live-streaming and/or recording. Adjacent to the space is a lovely cafe serving cappuccino, espresso, local beer, organic wine and light food. We offer catering for breakfast and lunch or you may want to bring in your own caterer. The hall is close to the Barclay Center/Atlantic Ave. stop on the 2,3,B,Q,N,R,D,4 and 5 trains - as as the F to Bergen St., and the G to Hoyt-Schermerhorn stops. It's also quite close to the Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges, and the BQE.

Yes, I would book again.

Rented the space for my partner’s surprise 30th and it was such a great decision. The space is set up great and was super easy to set up with our decorations and food. Tunde is such a huge support with anything in the moment. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to host an event or celebration.

The manager there was very helpful, although some of the stuff that was mentioned as we communicated were not presented on the day of (such as utensils and access to other amenities) our event was fulfilled successfully Would definitely book here again.

THE PERFECT SPACE FOR ANY EVENT. PERIOD. We held a Gender Reveal Party in this space. We were graciously hosted by Tunde who offered all the accommodations we requested and more. The space was clean and met all of the criteria they have listed. We will be using the space again the next time we need it and am beyond happy with the experience we were met with. Thank you for everything.

The Host was amazing. Extremely helpful the entire duration of my stay. We have a dinner party for my sister and he was very respectful and got along very well with everyone. I would definitely be booking again!

We enjoyed renting the space for our wedding rehearsal dinner. Tunde was very communicative and attentive to our needs. We were able to bring in catering and used the projector to show pictures. Tunde also took care of the music for us. Would highly recommend this space for anyone wanting to host a private event!

This space was fantastic! Such a great location with fabulous accommodations. Tunde and Melissa were so helpful in securing the space, getting things set up and running the event smoothly. If you are doing a movie screening, this is the perfect place! Will definitely be booking again!
