Hi I'm Matt the Owner. Let me tell you a little bit about our studio! This is a professional creative use studio perfect for meetings, casting, rehearsal, etc. Located in the heart of Gallery Row inside the Financial District in Downtown Los Angeles, the studio is located in a protected National Historic Landmark, The Financial Center Building. Steeped in history and now brimming with the energy from Downtown's revitalization, the marble lobby sits right next to a wonderful smoothie/juice/health food shop, across the street from a few cafes for your caffeine fix, and across the way from a CVS in case you're missing any odds and ends. The space itself is a 300 square foot smart studio featuring: -5000 watts of continuous lighting including 3 daylight variable-power softboxes and overhead track lighting with daylight bulbs -White ceiling-mounted backdrop (great for projection if needed) -Large windows with natural light -A sink and lighted vanity mirror -Full length mirrors -10 commercial grade outlets on walls and 2 on the ceiling -Ceiling hooks for hanging more equipment -A c-stand -5 lighting stands -Free Wifi -Ceiling-mounted bluetooth-enabled speaker system -A mini fridge -Use of the fire escape for downtown views - 3x lightweight 4-foot tables, 4 metal stools, 2 cushioned black stools, a director chair, a tall wooden stool, and a cushioned chair. We also feature the ability to hire assistants, photographers, A/V techs, and other staff, as well as the ability to get you any other equipment you should need, given proper notice. Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Good space, great communication with the owner when I had questions. Light is good but could be brighter, in winter times the hours were a little limiting for perfect light.
