We filmed a couple of interviews at this space and love the way they turned out. Daniel got us the perfect seamless backdrop we requested and the space was accommodating for multiple guests. There isn't a lot of natural light, but the light panels are top quality and worked great.
This was the most amazing experience. The hosts of the space were so welcoming and accommodating and made it easy for our film shoot. We will definitely want to come back and shoot here in the future.
Great!. Daniel was very good with communication and really tried to think along with me and my photoshoot. He wasn't as fully equipped as he advertised and as I thought he would be. For instance, he didn't have strobes included in the price, but he gave me a bit of a discount, which was nice, I suppose. The space itself is very spacious and comfortable and at a nice spot in Brooklyn.
Daniel was responsive and helpful in answering most of my questions. The space is great: on the ground level off of the main entrance / security desk which is helpful for access. The former building beautiful wood flooring and wooden beams are gorgeous. The space was clean and it's nice to have the little food prep area. The rolling rack is a little one - I'd invest in two chrome collapsible rolling racks $125/each and a $200 commercial steamer and charge renters a day fee of $40 and you'd make you money back and then we would have to haul ours to your studio. We were prepping, staging and dressing the model in the room. Jean Luis was there most of the time and he was very nice. Peerspace Concierge is a great idea in theory. I opted for their service for catering and although the breakfast was 15 min late and the lunch order was really messed up -like triple pizza ordered for our crew number that I gave away whole pizza to the front desk. They were nice and gave me a $50 back. I liked Relab Studio a lot and think it's a great partial studio for small shoots too. The receipt is not IRS audit ready by one can just added the booking info I suppose.
