Our studio manager is licensed and certified in the following: - Current State of California Cosmetologist License (requires 200 hours of technical instruction in Health and Safety, including 40 hours of technical instruction in Laws and Regulations, and Disinfection and Sanitation) - Certified by The American Academy of CPR & First Aid, Inc. in Blood Borne Pathogens - Safe Sets International Certified - Barbicide Certified - Barbicide COVID-19 Certified Our ventilation system is not shared with other spaces. We follow all current recommendations from CDC, EPA, and OSHA as well as local government ordinances.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from the CDC
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Space totals 1,900 sq ft, with 1,500 sq ft of flexible, open floor space, and 100 linear feet of white gallery walls. Just up the street from Warner Bros. Studio, in the desirable Magnolia Park neighborhood, we have ample free street parking in front and three reserved spaces in the back. Ground-level access, with a custom-designed 10'x10' loading door at the back for easy load in. Parking description

Parking is very easy, especially by LA standards. Three (3) parking spaces are reserved for you directly behind the space and loading door. All street parking in the neighborhood is free, and most is unrestricted. Street sweeping on one side of some streets Tuesday or Wednesday morning. See W Clark Ave; N Whitnall Hwy; N Cordova St (west side permit only); N Avon St; N Hollywood Way (marked as 2-hour, 8am-6pm).

Lighting description

Front of the studio is a windowed retail storefront, 25ft across, and windows are 8ft tall. Rear of the studio has two industrial windows approx. 5ft x5ft each. One of these is built into a metal loading door that opens to approx. 10ft x 10ft for beautiful natural light. The rear of the studio faces primarily east, and the front is primarily facing west. We have blackout panels and curtains for all windows. We get direct morning sun in the back, and late afternoon direct sun in the front. Indirect light midday.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

We have two direct neighbors, one office and one retail shop. Both are quiet and film friendly. We are in a storefront space along a busy street, but we have had a variety of filming in the space and audio engineers have had no problems. Interviews typically done with a combination of lav mic and direction boom mic. AC is under your control, two independent units.

We have 3 parking spaces in the back of our space with direct access to the 10x10 loading door. There is about a 9 in. step into the space, and the front door has no step.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

Along one side of the space there are a few small rooms used as storage and a private office. They do not interfere with the open floor plan of the space.

Electrical system description

Circuit breakers are easily accessed in the utility closet, and outlets are located throughout the space. We can provide a floor plan that shows outlet locations, and have notes on power distribution as well.

General Rules

PRODUCTION Certificate of Insurance with us listed as Additional Insured is required. Requested rental period is inclusive of load-in, setup, tear down, and clean up. All materials you bring to the studio, must leave with you. We require that guests notify us of any damage, and a walk-through is required before and after all bookings. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items. No smoking. Alcohol can be served at your event, but not sold, unless through a caterer with the proper license/permits. You are responsible for providing security for all events with alcohol. No illegal substances allowed on the premises. If found to be present, client will be asked to dispose of immediately. Failure to cooperate will result in immediate halt of the rental without refund of any remaining time. Client may decorate the studio as long as there is no damage to walls, floors, mirrors, furnishings, equipment, etc. Decorations must be approved before use. No glitter, feathers, silly string, or duct tape allowed in the studio. Thank you, we look forward to working together!

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.

Standard 90 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
