We had a team of about 10 to produce a small photoshoot, and this space was a great fit. The light was perfect, and the shades helped to dim the room when we needed to. Having the living room sofa area and dining room table to use are separate set areas helped to make our lifestyle shoot look more multidimensional. All of the greenery was a huge bonus.
The space was great for what we needed - my only concern would be if you need a controlled video setting we got lucky that it was overcast that day but to keep that in mind if it were sunny! For photos would be great! ----------- [RESPONSE FROM HOST: "Hi Kayce, thank you for your review and sharing your concern about shooting video in the space when it is sunny. While you didn't personally get a chance to see the space when it is sunny, we've had many video shoots in the space without ever any issues. To accommodate a range of shoots, we have shades for the windows that can be used to control the light very well for such reasons."]
Exactly as advertised. Large, clean, beautiful natural light from the enormous windows. John was prompt, helpful and accommodating. The building itself is a former school, so the hallways were wide and equipment was easy to quickly move into and out of the space. Absolutely recommended.
The space was perfect for our shoot. Great light, loved having the seamless background and lights. John was an excellent host very accommodating and helpful. Will book again!
This space was really great for the small shoot I did. John was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed and let us work in the space uninterrupted. Great sunlight and high ceilings if that is what you are looking for. :)
Excellent responsive and helpful host. Great space. The space is slightly smaller than how the pictures feel, but still a wonderful find and perfect for our photoshoot. Host made us feel totally at home. Highly recommended. ----- [RESPONSE FROM HOST: "Hi Sujey, thank you for your review and sharing your feelings about the size of the space in comparison to the feel of the photos. We try our best to display the space honestly and accurately by taking all of our photos without using a wide-angle lens, showing it from multiple angles, and providing a floor plan - we never want our guests to expect any unwanted surprises when arriving, so you can feel confident that the space is actually quite large, especially for Manhattan, and as many other guests have stated in their reviews, it is exactly as pictured."]
