About the Space
1200sq ft storefront loft with 14ft ceilings at Hollywood/Vine. Great for co-working, filming, recording and hosting meetings! We have a 2 ten foot tables that seat 20 people + couches, 5 monitors with Roku, 2 MacMinis, Xbox, projector, PA system with microphone, a green screen, sound recording booth (great for podcasts), full kitchen and showers. This is a ground floor storefront off of Hollywood Blvd (Walk of Fame) on a large alley called Cosmo. RATE: Negotiable if you are willing to share the space, or $100/hour to have it privately.

So the place states sound booth but in the picture, there are tables, chairs and it looks very roomy. I did ask if I can use the table and the chairs for a work meeting of 4. I was told yes but there might be others working there. So I asked how many and I was told 3. I was ok with 3 others it looks spacious enough and there, so I asked if they would be ok with my team of 4 -6 being there since I would be teaching and I was told it was fine. I did get a message asking if the meeting can be moved up to 10 since the first staff arrives at 10. We were not able to move it so she gave us the code. I assume there would be no staff until 10. When entering the room I realized it was a hostel with many ppl sleeping all over the place. There was a girl who was changing in the middle of the place. There were no rude guests but was feeling very awkward since they had no mask. My team are all fully vaccinated but was under the impression it would only be 3 other staff members working not staying there. I paid till 1 but left at 11:30 since it was awkward. There was also a guy with no mask coughing a lot which concerned me a lot. My team wiped the table and chairs with Clorox wipes. It is a hostel and there are people sleeping, eating, and lounging around in case you are doing anything official. The staff over tex was very responsive. I also got a ticket because I parked in an empty area so not sure why I got it.

Cool space. A bit awkward since people are using the bed’s in the space, but I did know this ahead of time. The team was very helpful.
