Downtown LA huge 7,500 sq. ft. space Hourly / Daily / Weekly rent for Private Events, Weddings, Wedding Receptions, Birthday Parties, Concerts, Pop-Up Restaurants, Film/Photo Shoots, Art Exhibits, Company or Corporate Events, Launch Expos, Fashion Shows, Church Worship, Formal Dinners There is metered parking on the street (free after 6:00 p.m.). We also offer indoor parking in the next-door building for up to 15 cars (not included in the hourly rate). Our venue is walking distance from the Metro Blue line (801) Grand / LATTC Station. Main street level access; roll-up door at the back entrance through the alley for loading/unloading. Our venue features a large stage, sound equipment, wooden dancing floor, bar space with refrigerators, separate dining area with connection to the fully-equipped kitchen, and separate restrooms for men and women. Our usual capacity is up to 250 standing, or 170 seated. Because of COVID-19, we are limiting bookings to events of 100 or less guests. The space is available for event rental until 2:00 a.m. usually. We may be able to accommodate events that end later for an extra charge. No need to worry about noise. Because Saturdays are our highest demand days, we charge an additional flat fee of $350 as a weekend surcharge. DUE TO COVID-19 RULES, WE ARE NOT BOOKING EVENTS UNTIL THE END OF 2020 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. What's included: All the furniture on the premises; piano; refrigerator in the bar and the kitchen; use of the kitchen to warm up and/or arrange food on platters; trash cans and liners; toilet paper and soap. Available for an extra charge: AV equipment; amplifier; AV Technician; stage/dance floor lights; projector and projector screen; full kitchen; A/C/heater running costs; and parking for up to 25 cars next door. We have liability insurance through PeerSpace booking. This is one of our client's comment: "I fell in love with the space. We will use an open area for food and mingling. Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Loved the space and all the different areas it has, you can definitely achieve lots of different looks here. They also have so many props and furniture pieces you can move around and have fun set dressing with. Peter was really helpful guiding us through the space and where to find everything. The lighting that was in the venue was really helpful, and the PA system for sound was great too. I'd definitely shoot here again.
