Accommodating every event niche, we offer: - A Fully Equipped Kitchen: Create culinary delights on site or let your caterers whip up a gourmet spread. - Comfortable Amenities: Enjoy the use of our dinnerware, pots, pans, cake stands, and more. We've got you covered! - Temporary Party Decor: Tastefully designed decor that alters with the season, adding an edge of surprise to your photos. - Acoustic Brilliance: Bring your portable speaker, and let the smooth rhythm of background music uplift spirits. - One Restroom: Ensuring the comfort and convenience of all your guests. Our space supports outside food and cooking on-site while adhering to a BYO alcohol policy. To keep our space affordable, set up and clean up is up to you. You may move items, we just ask that you please return them to their original place. That being said, you are welcome to use anything in our fully-stocked kitchen (plates, cutlery, glasses, serving platters, pots and pans, cake stands, etc.) - anything that can be washed and put back, you're welcome to! Please note that the decorations in the space (such as the swooping cloth pictured in the photograph) changes in accordance with the season. We'd be happy to provide you with information about the specific decorations during your rental time. We do not provide speakers or a sound system. Renters can bring a portable speaker from home for background music. Loud music is not allowed (i.e. if you want to hire a DJ, we are probably not the venue for you). Renters are expected to be respectful of neighbors and keep reasonable noise levels at all times. St. Lydia's is a small storefront church space that hosts rentals of all kinds. We are a progressive, LGBTQIA-affirming congregation working together to dispel isolation, reconnect neighbors, and subvert the status quo. Proceeds from all rentals are in direct support of St. Lydia's. Thank you! <3

We hosted a small wedding ceremony and reception in St. Lydia's, and it was absolutely perfect! The space is beautiful, and we really appreciated being able to use their kitchen, tables and chairs. The back garden was very green this time of year and really lovely for the ceremony, and all of our guests loved how comfortable and nice the space is. Debbie was very helpful helping us coordinate setting up for the event, and was very easy to communicate with.
