In addition to the Private Party space, we have conference room and photo studio space available for booking as well. Perks include a roof top deck, kitchen, high-speed internet, 60" smart television, and more! Plus, as Chicago's only collaborative space nestled under an urban farm, we often have fresh produce available on site. Our max seated plated or family style dinner capacity is 70 guests. Our max seated buffet dinner capacity is 60 guests. Our max seated ceremony/presentation capacity is 60 guests. Our indoor capacity is 80 guests with a cocktail style set up. Rental of the space is $300/hr Sunday-Monday, and includes the following: Included: 1- 120”x40” reclaimed wood table 2 - 40”x40” reclaimed wood tables 5 – outdoor café tables 22 chairs 60” TV with Apple TV Sonos sound system Full use of kitchen Full use of roof top deck Rentals available: Please inquire for full list of rentals and associated pricing if interested. Extended hours available. Set up and break down time is not included. This time is offered at a discounted rate of $50/hr. Event production and party planning available at a an additional cost. Florals (from our roof!) available at an additional cost. WEDDINGS ARE SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL FEE. HOLIDAY RATES APPLY. $125 mandatory cleaning fee Guests are subject to an excessive cleaning fee if cleaning outside of the norm is needed after an event. Guest are responsible for any damage to the property due to an event. Self serve alcohol is limited to beer, wine, and champagne only. NO HARD LIQUOR is allowed unless served by a LIQUOR LICENSED CATERER/SERVICE. PLEASE NOTE: a Bassett certification is not enough. PLEASE SUBMIT LIQUOR LICENSE TO TRC FOR REVIEW AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE BOOKED EVENT. Guests who bring self-serve hard liquor on site will be subject to a fine of $500. Parties with alcohol and 40+ guests are required to have security on premises for the duration of the event. Fees apply. Parties with alcohol that do not serve food are required to have security on premises for the duration of the event until the TRC staffer leaves. Fees apply. Limit of 2 - 30 minute site visits prior to event. The Pink and Green line are only a block away, so transportation is easy.

Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. This was a beautiful space and can be used in many ways. The outdoor patio was beautiful. Robin is accomodating and a pleasure to work with. She provided some critical information in regards to bartending licensing requirements which helped me plan a fun enagagement party. I would book again!

Our wedding at the Roof Crop was beautiful. The space was everything that I thought it would be. All of our friends and families loved it and we have some beautiful pictures from the location. We were able to set up and do everything the way that we wanted in the end. We had some ongoing difficulties communicating with Robin throughout the whole process. We often had to go back and forth to clarify communication and ideas multiple times. She was quick and responsive initially, however the communication difficulties increased as we came closer to the event. She did suggest some beautiful spots in the neighborhood to take pictures that were extremely helpful. Also the day of the event, we had a mishap and needed to get to a store quickly and Eleanor was extremely helpful locating local retailers! We had two visits to the Roof Crop before our event. We had difficulties both times finding mutual times to visit. When I asked for open hours and options to visit for the space the answer was not clear, and we were only told that their hours were “variable.” On our first visit, the person was 5 minutes late. The second visit, Robin told the person the wrong time, and she was 30 minutes late. We did receive an offer to reschedule and a rental discount; however, we were too close to the event to reschedule our visit. We booked the venue over a year in advance and there were changes to the venue in that time that we were unaware of and we feel we should have been notified. Their “skyline” view is now mostly blocked by a new high-rise under construction which is NOT reflected in the picture on the website. There was also a beautiful ivy wall in the lobby that would have been perfect for a photograph backdrop which is no longer there. We were also told that there were plenty of options for rentals through Peer Space and time to reserve the rentals. In addition, we were told that they would need only a week or two to reserve them for us. Initially, when I asked for a list I was told that I could have it closer to the event, as they are constantly adding more inventory. We later found that they have very limited rentals available. We were a small party so they only just met our needs, but had I been aware sooner, I might have looked at other options. I do not regret booking this space; however, I feel like it took an emotional toll to use this space due to the communication difficulties. We also partly chose this space because Robin seems competent and available to support us as needed. As the event came closer, we began to doubt that and worry about how the venue would work out, which caused a lot of stress. I do feel like others need to be aware of the limitations of this venue before booking.

This space was absolutely perfect for my bridal shower! I wanted to have an indoor outdoor feel and this was exactly that! After booking, we did have an issue where our original booking date was no longer available but Robin was phenomenal to work with and extremely accommodating and we were quickly able to resolve it! Everything went so smoothly and my guests were in awe & had an amazing time. Definitely recommend!!
