Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We clean and disinfect our space every morning and only allow at least a 1 hour pass through time between rentals to allow for disinfecting between rentals.. For an additional cost we can also provide an extra disinfecting session by a Certified Janitorial Service Provider just prior to our rental guest's arrival. Our on site staff person will monitor guests to assist them in complying with City of San Francisco health mandates. Upon arrival at our venue guests will be asked to have their temperature taken via an infrared forehead thermometer and either accept a hand sanitizer application or immediately go to our restrooms to wash their hands with soap and water. Our own staff will be wearing masks throughout the rental period and will periodically sanitize heavy use areas. Our venue is located at the ground floor of our building and as needed we can open both back and front doors to allow for greater ventilation and fresh air as needed.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

This 1,350 square-foot ADA compliant multipurpose gallery/performance space is a fluid, flexible environment for gathering and interacting. Activities range from exhibits, performances, and film showings to classes, meetings and small event-related receptions. Located in the lively North Beach Chinatown and Historic Manilatown district, with a Walking Score of 100 and a Transit Score of 100, our space is also close to public transportation and several reasonably priced parking lots. Hourly Use Fee includes a dedicated staff person to assist in event set up and break down and to run our Audio/Visual equipment. It also includes the use of our WiFi, Audio/Visual equipment, tables and chairs.

Parking description

There are several underground parking garages within a 1-block walk of our venue with the closest garage being directly underneath our building. Street parking is also free on Sundays. Also, the Montgomery MUNI/BART station is a safe 15-minute walk through San Francisco's Financial District and the MUNI 8 bus stops at our front door.

General Rules

PLEASE NOTE that it is the responsibility of the prospective Guest (Renter) to have reviewed all of our Rules and applicable Governmental Ordinances prior to booking our venue. Public Events: All events open to the general public must list our organization as a co-sponsor. Our organization must also be provided with a copy of any and all fliers or invites produced prior to public distribution. This requirement is not required for private events. Maintenance/Janitorial Service: Please discard your recyclables and waste in designated waste and recycling bins. Events requiring extra janitorial service need to be arranged with staff and will be charged an extra fee. Set –Up and Break –Down: Please include set-up and break-down times in your rental start and end times. The space must be left in the condition found. ALL Events must be over by 10pm. Alcohol Policy: NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED ON THIS PROPERTY. Unauthorized Activity: 1. Collecting funds for private profit or commercial gain. 2. Events promoting individual political figures or candidates. 3. Posting or distributing flyers without prior consent from our organization. 4. Disrupting programs and/or activities. 5. Defacing, damaging, stealing or destroying property. 6. Physically or verbally threatening, fighting or harassing any person. 7. Using open flames without our authorization (includes lighted candles, incense, chafing-dish Sterno(s) and any propane or butane fueled appliances). 8. Smoking inside of building. 9. Shaving, bathing or sleeping in public restrooms or in any other part of the space. 10. Pets or animals are not allowed in the building other than assistive animals for people with disabilities. 11. Any activity that is deemed in violation of federal, state, city or county laws, codes or ordinances.

Security cameras and recording devices

We have security recording devices only on the outside of our building. We do not have recording devices or security devices inside our venue.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
