Modern Bohemian Loft with Tropical Caravana lounge

Located two miles from Venice beach, our sun-drenched, bi-level loft will inspire you everywhere you look. Designed specifically for film and photo production, the space boasts 25 foot ceilings, polished concrete floors, and fantastic natural light all day long thanks to our many southeast facing windows. We have two painted statement walls by talent from Anthropologie and have just re-curated our space and added a gorgeous new assortment of custom-made furniture for summer, elevating our overall neutral palette. We’ve personally designed much of the loft’s decor and gathered textiles, ceramics, and other one-of-a-kind objects from around the world. Our aesthetic is a delicate balance of whimsy and bohemian modernity and many of our guests remark that shooting here is like living in the clouds. How our space looks isn’t the only thing that’s important to us. We are particularly mindful of the atmosphere in our loft, and elevate the vitality of the space with over thirty happy, healthy plants, sustainably sourced sacred woods, and beautiful crystals. With summer upon us, it’s worth noting that the light is especially gorgeous, flooding into the space as early as 6:30am. We also have amazing central air conditioning and upgraded air filters. Because I am an interior designer and my fiancee' is a TV and commercial director, we understand the rigors of film production, and have designed the loft with that in mind. The main downstairs area is a spacious open layout with a raw edge Calcutta gold marble table that can be easily moved to make additional space for complex camera and lighting setups. The master bedroom is a favorite for photo shoots and gets fantastic natural light throughout the day. The bedroom connects to our large master bathroom, which is unusually large and contains an oversized bathtub. The bathroom is great for shooting and can also be used as a makeup and wardrobe changing area. Upstairs you’ll find the crown of the loft, our tropical Caravana lounge, which is filled with low custom-made Moroccan cushions and pillows, organic hemp and goats wool Turkish rugs, painted statement walls, a dreamy palm tree, and our new majestic eight foot floor mirror custom built from wood beams of an ancient temple in Jakarta. With an array of unique decor, textures, and vignettes, the lounge upstairs is spectacular for creating content. You and your crew can enjoy your lunch break outside at our communal tables, and easily cater in food from numerous restaurants here in the Venice/Mar Vista area. *White peacock chair available upon request for a fee, please inquire.* We also own a Red Raven camera package that can be rented for a discounted price when booking the space.
