Street parking is available. Built in 1872, it was originally home to a furniture factory. It has just undergone an extensive, two-year rehabilitation into a thriving business center and an inspiring, meeting space & private events venue. 4,000+square feet of open space. Exposed brick, heavy timber construction, massive skylight (original to the building). Original maple flooring. All new services: electrical, lighting, plumbing, HVAC and connectivity. Gorgeous new restrooms (three stalls for ladies and three for men). Inspiring show/demo kitchen with all stainless appliances (stand-alone freezer, stand-alone refrigerator, two convection ovens, microwave, three compartment sink, convection stove) granite countertops and gorgeous cabinetry. Private V.I.P. room available with business center, dinning area, fully-equiped wet bar with, private bath with spa shower and heated floors, plush seating area and much more. All hours in the space are billable, including set up and tear down hours. All events must be private events with RSVP guest lists. Absolutely no advertised and/or public events, or events where admission is charged and/or where admission tickets must be presented to enter, can be held at The Hive On Hubbard. All alcohol must be purchased and served by a licensed caterer. No cash bars are allowed. Note: normal pricing does NOT apply to major holidays. Please ask for a quote. Thanks.

Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. We truly felt really comfortable planning our wedding at the Hive on Hubbard. Both Bethany and Josh were great to communicate with and they helped make sure that all details were covered, offered advise based on previous events, and coordinated furniture rental. The space is exactly as advertised and even better in person. It’s was spacious enough to host our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The Hive on Hubbard is a gorgeous venue that provides your guests with a wonderful view of the Chicago skyline, especially as the sun sets. While the space is medium to large, it still has a very friendly feel. Our guests smiled as soon as they entered the venue. On the practical side, the ‘bridal suite” was very handy. The kitchen is adequate for caterers, but not a commercial kitchen. The security was very good. Joshua is very helpful and kind to work with, we loved him. As for the owners, they are strictly business over customer service, but Bethany was very helpful and kind when we met with her in person. We did encounter impatience and a lack of cooperation when a problem arose with one of our vendors. And questions inevitably arise, but it was hard to get helpful details or explanations. If you want to use this venue, I recommend you do not go it alone: factor into your budget an event planner as your go-between.

We had the best experience with Bethany and her staff at the Hive! The space was pefect for our Chicago wedding. All night our family and friends were raving about the event space!! They all wanted to go up to the roof :) Bethany was quick to respond and help us with all of our rentals through Tablescapes. She is kind and professional. My (now) wife and I had our wedding and reception here and it was absolutely fabulous. The space is amazing for small/mid sized weddings. We had about 130 people and it was perfect. The space is cozy and has lots of natural light. We also got to do photos on the roof, which has an amazing view of the Chicago skyline, plus we got to wave at all our dancing guests through the big skylight on the roof which was a nice moment. Working with Bethany, Josh, and team was incredible. They are very responsive, very reasonable, and eager to work with you on the details that are important to you. Highly recommend this space, and the team behind it.
