We are unique because firstly; we occupy part of an old submarine repair shop that has some great history, and secondly; our space features 18ft high ceilings with beautiful artwork, custom build furniture and cool art installations. Our venue is part of a larger Industrial block where a handful of start-ups and small businesses reside. We are across from a lovely park and a stones throw from Amtrak. The free Emery-go-around bus drops from the Bart to outside our office, every half hour and there is plenty of parking available in the neighborhood. Our space is perfect for your next wine tasting party, launch party, team building event, hackathon, consumer brand-building event, workshop, holiday party, baby shower or private event. Work with our Event Specialist who can design, style and coordinate your whole event (outside event planners and caterers are welcome too! ) We work with local caterers, bar services and food trucks to supply top-notch food, drinks and service. We house an excellent wine distributor with an extensive portfolio. *Please note, all wine sales must go through our distributor. We have wines of all price points, and can also source special wines for your event. Events need to end by 11pm (residential regulations). All left over food and drink must be taken with you. Make sure all the trash is taken out at the end of your booking, and placed in the bins outside the door. Extensive cleaning of $140.00 will be billed to you if needed. Schedule your event time from time of initial occupancy (set-up) to time of vacating the premises (break-down). Any time in the space beyond a 15 minute grace period after the end of your booked time will be considered a paid extra hour. Permission for Food Trucks will need to be cleared by owner / management before your event. Fire risk & neighbors considerations require that no open flames, wood burning ovens, exhaust vents or otherwise can be used within our venue or loading dock. You do not wish to have the very expensive option of fire sprinklers on during your event!
This is a very cool space, and the conference room had everything we needed, even a nearby kitchen with fridge! The host Kara was so welcoming, the space is clean and quiet, and the greeting by Petunia the dog was a nice touch!
My team and I were so happy with the space Kara provided! Anything and everything we could have wanted was available. Gabe, our onsite contact, was fabulous as well :o) I look forward to using the space in the future if the opportunity arises!
Great space and the host team was very responsive and flexible to work with. Not much restrictions so planning was much easier. The host's team member even helped with our setup. Grace period of half hour for set up and break down respectively was too short. Audio sound systems were great. Bar and lounge area that are already there is very nice. Two bathroom facilities were clean and were of appropriate sizes. Parking even on weekend was a bit challenging. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely be thinking of this place for our next event (I know a few of our guests are).
