Located in Sebastopol at the center of the Green valley appellation of Sonoma county is an unusual property that hosts its own habitat and small organic vineyard. The habitat includes a lake that hosts birds of every variety and a walkable path around the one mile perimeter. The Estate house is a very large, well-loved Mediterranean style home with high ceilings, open floor-plan, galleries, courtyards, outdoor dining & living space. The home is perfect for hosting family reunions, business meetings, healing, educational, and fine art retreats or any large group gathering. While the estate house is not a contemporary "Luxury" residence, it is expansive, warm and open with modest 1990s style finishes, quarry tile dining gallery and kitchen and carpeted bedrooms and alcoves. The main wing of the estate home 4 bedrooms with multiple beds, 4+ bathrooms and a large dining gallery with family-style kitchen, a large gallery style interior, media room, wine & coffee bar. The home is situated on a knoll overlooking bucolic vineyards, a large trellised pool, a private recreational lake used for boating, water skiing, paddling, canoeing and swimming.
No pets whatsoever are allowed on the premises without explicit written permission and are subject to daily fee and additional security deposit. Food and drink should be limited to the kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas. Please do not take food or beverages other than water into bedrooms, family room, living room or other carpeted areas. Charges will be assessed for carpet spotting and cleaning. Maid service is not included in the hosting rate, but linens and towels are provided along with access to laundry facilities, washer & dryer. Daily maid service can be arranged in advance for additional fees. Guests are expected to treat the homes with respect as they would their own, which includes cleaning up after themselves in the kitchen by running the dishwasher and washing all pots and pans used, emptying their garbage, recycling and compost. We also expect that guests take care not to damage wooden furniture with wet towels and glasses, or spilled wine and drinks. Our cleanup policy is as follows: • All furniture - indoor and outdoor - replaced to its proper room and location as it was staged upon your arrival. • Any toys, books, games, placemats, blankets, etc. put away where you found them. • The BBQ cleaned and left as found including grates brushed, gas OFF, utensils washed and cover in place. • Strip all used bed sheets and leave on the end of each bed for housekeepers. • All perishable items removed from Refrigerator/Freezer. Sealed foods and drinks may be left for our housekeeping crew to take home, if you wish. • All trash and recycling placed in marked bins on the left of the patio. • All dishes and utensils clean and put away as per photos inside the cabinet doors. Any remaining dirty dishes in dishwasher(s) and cycle(s) started. • All small appliances unplugged including coffee maker. If warming oven was used, please make sure it has been turned off. • All dirty towels placed in laundry room. If you could kindly start one load of towels (please do not mix color and white) prior to leaving it gives our cleaning crew a head start! • Thermostats (if used) turned off
