About Studio G Seattle
Our 3500 sq ft daylight photo studio includes a 20x30ft corner cyc wall shooting bay with a huge (recently installed) winch adjustable 20x20ft ceiling scrim offering lighting that is ready to go ideal for video and still photography productions. Simply turn on a wall switch for perfect white seamless lighting. If there is a need for additional lighting, there's plenty more readily available to enhance your production needs. In fact, if your production needs a videographer, photographer or simply a high level lighting specialist a professional can be provided for an additional fee. A row of east and south facing windows offers beautiful soft window light with translucent draped for diffusing sunlight. Full blackout curtains are available as well as overhead tungsten lighting throughout the space. The main studio is comprised of 4 shooting bays, an office, and full Chef's kitchen and can accommodate any size project, all which are included in the $125/hr rate (3-hour minimum). Feel safe and secure about using this space and keeping your valuables locked up. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.

This is a good space with lots of photo equipment and accommodations. If you're shooting video, be warned that their lighting is only tungsten and they did not have work gloves on site when we were there, so either bring your own or inquire that they've stocked some. They also have a power circuit issue that can be a time waster, so perhaps bring in your own LED lighting just to be safe. Jim, their site manager, is very helpful and communicative. However, we did have an issue with Katarina in that we didn't receive our load in instructions the day of until I called and texted repeatedly. She eventually sent it after our load in time had already started, so the beginning of our day became hectic very fast. Ultimately, if the communication had been better about load in procedures the rest of the issues would have been easier to manage as we wouldn't have been behind the gun of time. That said, the space itself is still quite nice and has good features like blackout curtains on every window and a green room for talent. I probably would search elsewhere for a space again, but you might have a better experience if they've learned from this one. Also, pay close attention to the parking warning. My producer opted to ignore it and now I'm being hit with the repercussions of that warning being ignored. Seriously, do not occupy more than the allotted spaces, it ruins everyone's day and is NOT worth it.
