We are a unique North Beach gallery specializing in original posters. The space is approx. 1300 square feet with 17 foot ceilings. North Beach is a vibrant neighborhood with amazing restaurants and incredible nightlife. Our space can be used for cocktail parties, photo-shoots, meetings, intimate catered dinners/luncheons, birthday parties and even art shows! Bar packages, additional chairs/tables, doorman/security & A/V services all available at an additional cost. We always recommend that potential party renters come by to see the space in person before deciding if it will work. Amplified and/or live music is allowed but may require the acquisition of entertainment permits. The cost of these permits varies and is not included in the venue rental.
Alcohol, food and beverages are welcome in our space. We require that all items brought in are removed at the end of the event. Rental items such as tables and chairs may be left overnight if they are guaranteed to be picked up the following day before business hours. We do offer help with set-up and clean-up if needed. No alcohol can be sold in the space unless you carry a liquor license for your event. You can offer a donation based bar or provide free drinks without carrying a liquor licence. Due to the delicate nature of our inventory, if you wish to have the art displayed, guests may not touch or handle the art under any circumstances. During events a contact for the gallery will be present or nearby to assist if needed. - No Smoking - No Handling Art - No Music past 10pm
I through my 30th bday here. Andrew was really helpful throughout the planning process. He arrived early to receive the balloons and the DJ and the food and responded quickly to my questions. His wife coordinated the bar and did a fantastic job! One piece of advice. If you’re looking for a one stop shop type deal, where the owner of the space can help you handle everything, this is not ideal. For an extra fee , his wife, Jen did handle the bar which was extremely helpful. However, I had to coordinate the rest ...DJ, Photographer, videographer, catering, balloons. If you want the liberty to organize that stuff yourself, and you’re really just looking for an incredible place and an amazingly gracious and friendly host with a gifted eye for rad retro posters, then you have just discovered a gem.
Andrew was quick to respond, easy to work with, and even helped us set up. He was extremely supportive of our event and helped rearrange the space in a way that worked best for us.

We hosted our holiday party with Andrew at his North Beach Gallery. Andrew was amazing to work with! He was incredibly flexible and helpful throughout the event. The space is also great -- its open, has great art, and the right amount of furniture. We would love to host another event here.

If you are looking for a truly San Francisco experience don't look any further! This place is amazing! Great posters, beautiful natural light and perfect location. We celebrated our wedding there and everything went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone loved the space and we got lot of compliments about how unique it was. Also I can't speak high enough about the owner. Always helpful, with a very positive attitude and great communication. He also recommended a bartender for the event and she was wonderful. We explained to her what we wanted and she crafted the best cocktail drinks ever! Overall very happy with our experience at Real Old Paper Gallery. Would highly recommend Andrew and his location.
