All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Come enjoy your event in my eclectic, sleek, elegant, modern 2 bd, 1.5 bath home w/ stunning views of the Observatory walking dist. to TJ, Gelson's, restaurants (think Little Pine from Moby), bars/clubs (Tenant of the Trees, Hyperion Public) & the lake. Approximately 1,500 sqft, this is a versatile home as you can have your event in the yard which has 3 different levels (with 2 tables, one that sits 15 people and another one that sits 8) and/or inside, in the uncluttered living space which allows easily 20 people in the house. A magical stay guaranteed in the hippiest neighborhood in the US. NB: street parking only and 35 nice and wide steps to entrance door but it's worth it!

Cancellation Policy

Grace period
All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
Flexible

Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

Yes, I would book again.

We rented Kareen's House for a commercial photoshoot and couldn't be happier. We needed to create 4 distinct looks and the house easily lent itself to this. The interior has some great looks and a nice view from the balcony, the kitchen was our key location, and the backyard with its multiple levels and patio area was perfect. Don't let the road with its tight corner getting in put you off. It may be a bit difficult for larger trucks, but we switched to a stakebed for this day and rented the neighbor's driveway for basecamp. Once we were in it worked out great and it wasn't a problem at all. Also make sure to ask about the lower level loft. It was a great place for us to use as hair/makeup, wardrobe, and holding. Highly Recommend.

Yes, I would book again.

We rented this space for our backyard bbq themed baby shower. Everyone thought the house was really cute and had a blast at the event. The house looked exactly as pictured and we had no problems communicating with Kareen. Note that this is a lived in home. Thumbs up!

Yes, I would book again.

We had a great experience using Kareen's space. Our film production went smoothly and turned out great, thanks to this beautiful location. The host was extremely responsive- quick, accommodating and friendly- and the space appeared exactly as advertised. Thanks peerspace and Kareen!
