The space is overall pretty nice. It's 1 floor in a house, all other floors are "off limits". The floor plan worked well for our group of 10. The large table can accommodate everyone and the living room with the TV is very comfortable. The communication with the host was quite easy both electronically and limited interaction with a friend at the beginning of the day. The major issue I would like to highlight (based on unanimous feedback of the 10 guests) is about the cleanliness of the place. 1. Bathroom was filthy 2. Stove was very dirty 3. Carpets were messy, not vacuumed 4. Glasses in the closet were not washed properly and dirty. 5. Overall lack of cleanliness It is a bit surprising that we were asked to remove our shoes given the state of the place. I would come back again if the cleaning was done.
The place is nice and clean with some AMAZing views of the city. The large open area is a great place for a small intimate corporate planning session and they "no shoe" policy helps to solidify that feeling. Matthew? Is very helpful and responsive and has all the adaptors you may need in order to connect any device to the TV. Their doorbell is broken so if you plan on coming early just knock on the door if they don't answer when you call :)
This was a perfect location for our teen workshop/sushi making class. The teens loved the location, with the big windows and natural lighting. Everything here is state-of-the-art and the host, Matthew, was very helpful: carrying things in and out to the car, setting up water and giving us an orientation, including helping the caterers to use the lift to bring in all their gear. Lovely site.
