This unique 1400sq photography/video studio, creative work space, and gallery is located in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. Initially, this space was used to work only on my personal art projects and photos but a couple months ago I decided to open it up to the public. In your convenience, there is plenty of free street parking outside and if you're coming the from the downtown or Capitol Hill area there is a 60 bus stop right out front. We offer two rooms for shooting. One larger room that features our very popular artificially greenery wall and a smaller room that features our seamless backdrops. We have 2 soft box lighting kits available for the guests to use if needed. Guests are also welcome to shoot anywhere in the studio including our hallway, staircase and entrance. I wanted to create a unique space for professionals but also keep it affordable for the starving artist so our rates are only $37/hr for the whole studio.
- $37/hr shooting photos/video (3 hour minimum), plus $50 refundable security/damage deposit upon shooting - Furniture can only be moved by the host upon request - Trash must be taken out at the end of your booking, and placed in the outdoor dumpster
This space had everything we needed and at a great price point. Harry was super easy going and helped us set up the seamless backdrop right away. Would highly recommend!
Great spot for photo shoots! Had backgrounds and light kits accessible so it made shooting very convenient. Harry was an awesome host he helped make everything go as smooth as possible! If your looking for a spot to shoot this is definitely a fantastic choice!
Harry was really nice and helpful. The space was clean and beautiful with a lot of props to use! One of our photographer left a prop and Harry has been nothing but accommodating on receiving it back. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone who wants to do different looks and themes! Amazing space and amazing host! Thanks Harry!
We enjoyed the space. The only issue we had, which is not the fault of the host, is the auto mechanic downstairs was working on a box truck directly below the small room with the backdrop and great natural light, causing exhaust to come in the windows. Thankfully we just moved into the larger room, where I had setup my background, and just finished the photoshoot in there.
Harry was very personable and helpful - he assisted me in carrying in my gear and in setting up the seamless backdrop. Not any fault of his own, but one of my clients used a cane and had trouble getting up and down the stairs to the studio. Just a heads up! Enjoyed using the space. A bit tight - used my 50mm and 24-70 for group photos of 3 women, but I would have preferred to shoot longer. Individual portraits were just fine. Street parking was a bit tricky, as it was a busy area with a car repair shop below the studio. But, it's free! Thanks, Harry!
