Newly built event space in the heart of the historic Little Tokyo neighborhood of Downtown LA. Bright, spacious, high ceilings, natural light, modular furniture and more greet you upon entry into the space. Event space can seat up to 120 people seated and 200 standing. Includes access to full a/v (projector with AppleTV, 2 mics, speaker, stools, chairs, tables, podium). Kitchen with sink, filtered water, refrigerator and dishwasher available. A/C is provided Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-1pm. If A/C is requested outside of these timeframes, the cost is an additional $75/hr.
Hours booked must include setup and cleanup time. Time ends when the last person in your production leaves the location. A/C is provided Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm and Saturday from 9am-1pm. If your event takes place outside of operating hours, there is an additional $50/hr charge for staffing/operations. Trash must be collected prior to leaving the location. Event insurance must be procured for any events/production work. The event space will be in a clean condition prior to your event. Upon the end of the event, you are required to return the space to the same clean condition in which it was found. There is no open flame or frying allowed on site or any cooking that will create a large amount of smoke as our facility is not ventilated. No smoking is allowed in the space. Pets are not allowed in the space or the building unless they are service animals.
Terrific experience! On Site staff was SUPER helpful, space was cleanly and met our needs perfectly. Easy to find, ample parking nearby, and well organized from host from the beginning. Only needs a clicker for the projector and would be an A+++ :)
I cannot express in words how amazing our event at General Assembly was this past weekend. The staff was friendly, courteous, and attentive to whatever we needed while we were there. The space was clean, and was in the perfect location for our event. Thank you to peerspace, and to the amazing folks at General Assembly for being so amazing.
If I could leave more than a 5 star review I would! Darling and her team at GA were simply AMAZING!! I've worked with so many event spaces (both in the west & east coast) but the hospitality, help and care I received from this space was beyond spectacular, nothing like i've ever seen before. Not only was the team amazing but the space itself was gorgeous! GA also provides you with all the amenities you could ask for with no additional cost like other venues do. We were able to use their speakers, projector and AV system which was all included in the rental. God, I love GA! I swear I can talk about them for hours. If you're looking for a venue you need to seriously consider them. They're great!
Great open space with an awesome view. Kitchen is off to the side and the restrooms were clean and nearby. Our host went above and beyond and even filled in the gaps for some items that were missing from our lunch delivery. Darling and her team were gracious planning partners. They really helped me feel better about planning this event from a remote location. One small note is that this is a shared space for most of the year so if you need a completely private space, the front desk team will be in the vicinity of your event.
This is the second time that we’ve booked this space and it’s again been a pleasure for us to work with Darling and her team. They’re very attentive to our needs and take time to understand what our goals are for the booking, to make sure we have everything we need. The space is always so flexible and can be used however you need. We always love booking this space and look to do so again!
This space was amazing. I had to book it sight unseen as I was from Canada and doing an event in LA. Darling was there for me every step of the way and set it up beautifully my clients praised me for finding such an amazing spot to do our workshop out of. I highly recomment this space to anyone its light , bright and professional.
AWESOME SPOT! Darling and her team were super helpful and provided tons of great little extras for us and our guests (coffee, tea, and more!) Really easy to get specific items we needed like mics, seating, etc.... and best of all, Darling and her team did all the work beforehand for us. We booked extra time to setup/prepare, but they really did everything in advanced...we had lots of time to spare. Thank you everyone from General Assembly, can't wait to book again :)
