From the moment I visited the home, I knew it was right for my husband’s Memorial. What solidified it for me was the kindness of the family. On my visit I was given a tour of the house by Elisa’s son and he was very friendly and thorough, answering all my questions and if he didn’t have an answer he checked on it right away. Leading up to the event, Chris and Elisa were very helpful, which made it easier for me, having so many details to take care of. The event itself was a great success. Chris was on the property the entire time, available for help and answering any questions. Even when we ran into a few tech issues he stepped in right away to help! The time there was magical, healing and peaceful. The guests loved the property and the entire vibe. The only issue I had was with parking, because once there was an overflow of parking next to the house, guests needed to be directed to a field nearby. It got a little confusing for them, with some guests parking at the neighbor’s house. I still give them 5 stars because the parking issue was mainly my fault as I should have communicated the parking arrangements clearer for the guests. I would recommend this property for any group event where you’re looking to be indoors but next to beautiful nature and want a good vibe for your guests.

Elisa and Chris are marvelous hosts - extremely warm, inviting and helpful. The rustic remoteness of their space and home was just what we were hoping to find for our videoshoot with a full crew. Everyone simply enjoyed being in such a peaceful & beautiful place, the view of the distant ocean is breathtaking and we even fell in love with their dogs and cats. No one wanted to leave and we hope to return again. Thank you both!
We rented the outdoor area of Chris and Elisa's space for a video shoot for a toy promo. Chris and Elisa were extremely responsive and got back to us on all our questions very quickly. Since we weren't in the area during pre-production they also facilitated a FaceTime scout, which ended up working great. All in all, a laid-back, smooth and easy experience!
This might be my favorite location ever! Such an amazing property - quintessentially Californian, with the most gracious and helpful hosts! Will definitely be back!
Elisa and Chris were so sweet the entire time we were working with them. We had our wedding at their house and had to come to the house multiple times to plan and set up, and clean up, and they were always super accommodating. Their house and yard were clean and beautiful, everyone loved the space. Our caterers had an easy time cooking in their kitchen. Thank you Elisa and Chris! Xo
We had a vision for a relaxed, out of the way venue to hold an intimate and fun baby shower for our family and friends. After looking through a variety of options on peerspace, we settled on Elisa and Chris's place because of the location and the overall feel of the property. While a bit of a drive deep into Topanga Canyon, their spot right next to Topanga State Park ensured a quiet getaway from the craziness of the city, and was just the sunny, breezy atmosphere we were looking for. They met us at the gate, and opened their home to our group to use the kitchen, living room, bathroom, deck and extensive property. We had everything we needed for our short event, and they accommodated the two musicians we had there as well (https://www.gigsalad.com/jill_sargeant_los_angeles). Their property really exudes the relaxed canyon lifestyle, and was a beautiful place to spend a few hours. Depending on your preference, there are dogs and cats on the property all very friendly, and we were grateful that Chris and Elisa were able to accommodate our schedule as they had jus returned from a trip to Italy the day before, but still made our event work. In order to accommodate our parking, they also had a neighbor's lot just around the corner we rented for overflow. Thanks for the hospitality and opening your home to our family! ~Mark & Veronica
