Tranquil indoor/outdoor center in Topanga

Host an all day workshop or event at this exclusive property in the Topanga mountains. This 2 acre property is surrounded by the nature of the Santa Monica Mountains and a creek runs on the property. There are 3 different spaces to use for your event. There are TWO indoor spaces, an apartment with living room and kitchen, AND a separate structure for meetings/classes. There is ONE outdoor space. Together all three areas would make for a fabulous experience for your guests. *AREAS* ~MEETING ROOM~ The living room in the apartment is ideal for meetings/workshops for up to 12 people. There is a beautiful view of the countryside. There is also a kitchen available for use, and a bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, freezer/refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, and cooking utensils. Cups and plates for up to 12 people for self-catering needs or for chefs hired to cook onsite. The small outside patio has patio furniture, carpets, and two outdoor heaters to allow year round use. ~GROUP ROOM~ The Group Room has a large central table with ten chairs, wall heater/AC, sink & fridge. There is room for extra tables and chairs. Guests can use the bathroom in the main house or a green toilet in a nearby outbuilding. ~SUN TEMPLE/BACKYARD~ Climb a few steps to this special space under the oaks. Once inside the enclosed area, guests have a view of a grassy and wooded hill beyond the fence. Sit or exercise in the dappled sunlight under oak trees with singing birds. There is a large platform, decorated with statues of the Divine Feminine, with comfortable seating and folding chairs if needed. Beyond the platform there is an open area for which a large carpet and cushions can be supplied. The meditation/exercise area stays cool in the hottest weather, and there are two propane outdoor heaters if needed. Space ideas- meeting, workshop, yoga, meditation, energy healing, etc. For yoga there is room for 12 mats. Chairs are available to set up for a maximum of 30 guests Statues and ceramics may only be moved with permission and the supervision of the host. **PARKING** There is parking onsite for 8 - 10 cars and overspill parking available on Cheney Dr. This retreat center is located in a rural and tranquil setting in the Santa Monica Mountains with easy access from Topanga Canyon Boulevard. The center is in a rural part of Topanga only two minutes drive from two upmarket cafes with high quality organic food and five minutes from the best restaurants in Topanga Village.
