This is a rental for the Main Gallery (ground floor) of our spectacular 2 floor 6,000 sq ft venue. This rental spans the entire first floor, which can be separated into 3 separate rooms for breakout sessions or small-group meetings. We can fit up to 100 people total on the first floor. - No smoking or illicit activities. - All rentals include set up and clean up time. - Please bag all trash (bags are provided) and return furniture back to original position at the end of event. - Please factor in setup and cleanup time in your booking. IMPORTANT: You will be charged 1.5x hourly rate for any early arrivals or late departures in 30 minute intervals OR for bookings outside of our normal hours of operation (9am-6pm PST). Please consider your needs for the day and factor that set-up and wrap-up time into your booking accordingly.
This was a perfect venue for our event, which started at 6am until past midnight. Our hosts Sara and Katie graciously enabled us to set up the day before, including receiving and securely keeping our material both before and after the event. They provided full attention and support from start to end. The event was flawless. The venue was nicely decorated with beautiful flower arrangements. The tables and chairs were arranged as per our request and plenty of couches and seatings. There were over 300 attendees with their families that came throughout the day. The facilities were very bright, airy and clean and there's an elevator for disabled people who waited on the 1st floor. There was ample street parking as well as flat rate parking nearby. The event was being streamed live and the Internet connection worked as expected. The on site coffee bar made amazing beverages at the hand of the professional baristas. Julia at Peerspace concierge did a great and most professional job arranging for security and catering throughout the event and was available in case needed. A big thank your to all involved including Sara, Katie and Julia. I highly recommend both Peerspace and The Laundry.
Katie was a pleasure to work with when planning the logistics for our event. Sadly we had an unfortunate incident occur the morning of our event but Katie worked hard to rectify the situation, which I was grateful for. As far as the space, it is unique and interesting. I would not recommend this space for meetings where you need any sort of privacy as there are people in and out of the main door all day which was very disruptive to our meeting with sensitive topics. it is a creative space though with a great vibe and wonderful lighting.
