Please understand in advance that we are not currently seeking partnerships or collaborations. Our 750 square foot creative storefront studio has soaring 14 foot black ceilings and polished concrete floors. It is minimally & beautifully decorated in a retro Scandinavian style featuring pale wood details and pastel colored accents. Hair & makeup areas and a variety of sets built right into the decor. A plywood stage is inset under the mezzanine in the back and can be illuminated with built in spotlights and accent lighting. We even have a sleeping loft and bathroom with shower for our traveling photographers/ guests. Larger productions, commercials, tv shows, non-student films and productions requiring the use of our parking lot for tents etc. will be subject to industry standard rates. Please inquire for more info. All set up and clean up must occur within the rental time period. As long as the space is vacated in the same condition as it was found, no cleaning fees will apply. This includes trash removal, tape, supplies, etc. If you do not tidy up appropriately, a cleaning fee of $75 will apply. We're happy to accommodate shoots that run longer than expected whenever possible but OT will be billed at 1.5x the hourly rate. Please do not book short (under 5 hour) rentals to start earlier than 8am. If necessary, a surcharge of $50 will apply. An entirely separate space next door can be made available for Hair + makeup and video village/ talent holding area for an additional fee. What is the natural light like (exposure, # of windows)? 4 large north facing windows in front, 1 small high window east facing, opaque glass back door south facing Are all areas of the space accessible for production purposes (including the exterior) yes but parking lot is shared and permission must be granted for tents etc. Will there be an on-site manager present during the booking? My office is right next door so usually during the week I am present next door therefore available but not in the room. Someone will always be there to let you in and to get you settled. What are the parking and load-in / load out options on site? we have a small parking lot in the rear of the building which may be useable based on permission from our landlord & neighbor. Guaranteed parking for at least 2 cars, possibly more. There is 2 hour metered parking out front that can be fed indefinitely and free street parking in the residential area half a block away. We are also have restaurants right next door with valet service for $6 during their business hours.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price.
