THE MODERN STONE ESTATE is a 5500 sq ft home on a 3 acre property with 360 mountain and ocean views, tennis court, gym and spa, and garden pool. Easy location in Los Angeles, 1 mile above Carbon Beach (Billionaires Beach) in Malibu. Amazing views and wild foliage outdoor locations sprawling all around the property. The wrought iron gate at the bottom of the driveway opens up to your own private road leading up to the house. The house has modern mid-century clean lines, grey stone exterior and white interior walls. The carved mid-century grand front door, sculpted by famous artist Tony Rosenthal, leads you into the home. The downstairs of the home has lightwood floors throughout the open floor plan with a living room, dining room and white marble kitchen & bar. The living room is tastefully decorated in modern design with a slight mid-century flair. It also features a mid-century white brick fireplace and floor to ceiling glass doors opening onto an ocean view terrace with a round stone table and 6 wrought iron chairs. Floor to ceiling glass walls encase the gym off of the dining area which lead out to a garden pool. There are three bedrooms downstairs, one off of the pool with a seating area and mid-century brick fireplace. Stairs lead you up to the second floor into a second professional kitchen area featuring 2 sub zeros and a wolf range. A stainless steel and wood bar wraps around the professional kitchen and opens into a loft-like lounge area with sofas and a 103" dining table. A hallway off the kitchen leads you down to the second floor en-suite master bedroom featuring its own private ocean view balcony and 180" ocean and mountain views. A seating area and mini-bar in this bedroom make this an ideal place for talent during a production. Great for production filming as the home has two private gated roads, one is perfect for parking very large trucks and cars and setting up base camp. Located in Malibu, California 1 mile above "Billionaire's Beach", only 30 minutes from Downtown Los Angeles and the Valley and 15 minutes from Santa Monica. Private roads on the property for parking large trucks and several cars.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS • Renter must have certificate of insurance for additional insured and loss payee under renter’s comprehensive general liability policies, unless other arrangements have been made. • Comprehensive general liability must be in an amount not less than: $1,000,000/1,000,000 Bodily Injury Liability and $1,000,000 Property Damage Liability RESPONSIBILITY • Renter shall indemnify and hold harmless the host and/or parent company, and/or subsidiaries, and/or affiliated companies from any and all liabilities, claims, damages, costs, expenses, and lawsuits, including those incurred as a result of contributory negligence of the host • Renter shall indemnify and hold harmless the host and/or parent company, and/or subsidiaries, and/or affiliated companies for any injuries sustained or incurred by ANY person — whether or not said person or persons is employed by Renter or The Host — regardless of whether injuries are sustained as a result of contributory negligence of The Host. • Renter assumes full responsibility for loss and/or damage to any property or equipment — whether belonging to The Host, crew members, talent or others — from whatever cause during this agreement. The Host is not responsible for articles left behind by Renter. • Renter shall cover Loss of Income equal to the base rental rate of lost/damaged property or equipment multiplied by the number of days required to repair or replace lost/damaged item. • The Host will not be held liable for missing packages. All packages and/or deliveries sent to your production through a 3rd party (Fed-Ex, UPS, etc.) will be checked in and held in our space. All packages must be retrieved and signed out by client. All packages left behind by client for 3rd party pickup, must be signed in by the location manager. • The renter shall be responsible for the restoration to original condition in the event of permanent alteration, paint, construction for an event. • No smoking is allowed on the premises. • In deference to neighbors, doors will be closed and volume moderated at 12am. CONDITION • Renter agrees to accept the Facility in its “as-is” condition. RENTAL TIMES • All rentals adhere to the specified dates and times, and are not to exceed 12 hours in a single day except by prior arrangement. Additionally all rentals between the hours of 11pm and 6am will be billed at a higher rate of $499 per hour. • If your production runs longer than the agreed upon time, overtime will be charged at $399/hr for the first 2 hours, and $499 for any hour or fraction thereof beyond. The location opens at 5am on any first day of your production rental. Your production may not run past 1am on your last day of rental except by prior arrangement. If your production runs past 1am, overtime is $499/hr. You are responsible for costs incurred if The Host is not able to prep the location in time for the following day’s production start time due to your overstay.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
