There is metered street parking on Lincoln and free street parking on Pacific Ave. one block over. The parking structure on Oak st. is only 75 cents an hr. Street parking is free after 6 pm. The library lot across the street is free, but has a 2 hour limit. Please inform your guests that there is no parking allowed at the laundromat & 7/11 parking lot next door.

Set up + Arrival -You are welcome to arrive for set up at the start time of your rental window. Please do not enter the building early as the host may still be cleaning. - You are in charge of your own set up but your host will help you with moving the tables as they are heavy and they can not be dragged over the floors. -The space will not be preset for you, so please make sure to bring enough helpers to assist you with moving around tables, setting up chairs and decor. - Please no use wet beverage tubs or hot chafing dishes on our handmade wooden tables (the concrete counter is a good spot for these) -If you decide to use our folding tables, please BYO linens. These tables are 6ft and we have 4. - The only tape that can be used on the wooden wall is painters tape. It works well for paper banners. No packing tape, duct tape, ect can be used. If you'd like to do something heavier we advise using fishing line and hang from sprinkler pipe or little hooks in ceiling above the wooden wall. COVID-19 safety measures - The host will take the temperature of each guest and staff member upon arrival + they will be asked to sanitize their hands. - The host will count the guests entering the space and close the door after the maximum amount of 25 guests is reached. Guests may leave the space throughout the event, but no new guests can arrive. - At this moment we can not allow outdoor cooking or food trucks. Throughout the event - Your host will hang out in the back Art Gallery area throughout the event and will be available to answer any questions that may arise. - For his own safety the host will limit entering the main space once guests have arrived. Feel free to send her a text when you need her and she will come check in with you. - Due to COVID-19 restrictions the lounge, patio and art gallery areas are off limits to guests with the exception of the kitchen and bathrooms. - Only 2 designated guests or catering staff are allowed to enter the kitchen area. - Your host will regularly sanitize the bathrooms throughout the event. - Please make sure guests do not hang out in front of the building and keep the front doors close throughout the event. We can also not have any gatherings or smoking on the side of the building or in the adjacent parking lots. The event has to stay contained to the main space. Clean up - Your clean up needs to happen within the rental window. Our advice is to start clean up 1/2 hr before the end of the rental window. - Any overtime will be charged at ½ hr increments, at $75 per any section of 30 minutes. - Please help your host reset the space and leave it as you found it. - Please don't leave before checking out with your host, they will do a walk through with you to make sure everything is left behind in good order and check for any damages. -We will process the trash of the party but please take any decor and big cardboard boxes back home. We will provide trash bins and liners. - You will just have to clean up your own items you brought in: food, drink, decor etc. You will not have to clean the tables or floors unless there was a big spill. - You will need to help the host to reset the tables in the original set up, as they are heavy! The host will take the lead on moving tables as they can not be dragged. - The use of glitter and/or confetti may lead to an additional cleaning charge of $50. - If any non compostables are thrown into our green bin on the patio during the party this will lead to an additional cleaning charge of $50. Parking - Please inform your guests that there is no parking allowed at the laundromat, 7/11 and Goodwill parking lots next door. A few more notes - Please note that the following items are not allowed: * Glitter or confetti (not even inside balloons) * Fireworks (Sparklers) * Smoking of any kind inside and outside- including vaping * Pets - If any kids are coming, please make sure they are monitored by their parents at all times. Please be aware that you will be charged for any damage done by your guests. - If you are using disposables please use recyclables or compostables. We do not allow styrofoam.
