The ad states this is a 60 person party hall but in my opinion this hall is barely big enough for 40. The extended hall that is mentioned is only offered at an additional $25 an hour and wouldn't work well considering it is part of the restaurant and there is no provided privacy. The room also has 2 big windows where the rest of the restaurant can look right in, so that also takes away from privacy of your event. The table and chair covering are an extra $30 charge, which is also not mentioned in the ad. The chairs themselves look very dirty, so I figured I needed the covers, however when I arrived to the room, there were no table covering provided as stated and the seat coverings were VERY dirty with stains and were wrinkled. It was embarrassing. I refused to pay the extra $30 for them and was waived the fee. The amenities state they have a kitchen, but to be clear, you have no access to the kitchen to warm food or keep food cool. They offer warmers, again, at an additional cost. They also state janitorial services are included in the cost, however we were made to throw our own trash bags out back. We also had no control over the Indian music that was playing loudly through the speakers throughout the entire party. Lastly, you can only speak with the host via this website. They never answer the number provided and refused to call when I asked multiple times. I also don't think the picture displayed of the host is actually the host. When I went in the look at the venue a couple of days before my party, I asked to speak with Suman herself, but the restaurant worker kept stating "he" was not available.
The room itself was smaller than expected and when we arrived, it was dirty and chairs had dirty linens. I never really met the host and communicating with her was very hard. The restaurant hostess was polite but overall I wish we had more flexibility with the table and chair arrangement.
It was a great space! The staff had it all set up and brought in table clothes and table setting. We turned it away because I had planned for the party store type stuff but it was nice to know we had it. It would have been nice to be told the room was IN the Indian restaurant...even if it was after booking when we get the address.
Venue worked out great and the space was just the right size with enough tables and chairs. Only complaint would be the fact that they did not "schedule" my booking in their personal calender. Which would of been horrible if they had booked someone else for the same date and time... Other than that it worked out well.
Staff was super helpful with obtaining tables but the space advertised was adverised for up to 60. We had 40 guest and had a table of food. Everyone there was able to get to know each other very well because of tight space! But over all it was a great space and people!
The space was ready for set up before the event and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for letting us use your space, we'll recommend you to our friends :-)
