Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

There is a 30 minute gap between all bookings to allow for cleaning and disinfecting. We are currently in full compliance with Appendix J (media production) of the LA County reopening guidelines.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Hand Sanitizer

About the Space

A spacious 1900 square foot studio perfect for photo shoots and small productions. Features: - Full size 22' wide x14' deep'x12' high corner white cyclorama wall with a 2.5" curve - 12'x10'x10' corner black cyclorama - 12' wide roll down green screen - 8' x 10' neutral gray flat Plus numerous other walls and backgrounds including a brick flat, cinder block, steel panel flat, and several others Private make-up/hair/changing room. Large number of furnishings free to use with shoots. Plentiful FREE street parking next to studio entrance. This is a first floor space. No elevators or stairs to access the studio. This is not a designated, totally sound proofed sound stage. Although inside noise is very light (occasional truck, train horns,) we cannot guarantee there will be no outside noise interference. This is not a natural light studio. During the early morning hours we get daylight through east facing windows (blackout curtains are included.) We recommend artificial lighting, either your own or one of our rental packages, to light your subject. 4 C-stands, boom stand, light duty stands and sandbags, hair fan are included free with all rentals. + Strobe lighting rental package (3 Einstein lights with 2 softboxes, umbrellas, beauty dish and grid modifiers and triggers) rental is $35 per shoot. Additional strobes (non-Einstein) are $10/each. + LED continuous lighting rental package available for $35/shoot (4 Fovitec LED panels) + Colored LED accent light set (4x15w lights, app controlled) $20/shoot + Colored seamless paper is available for $10/pull (hot pink, light pink, dark blue, light blue, gray, red, yellow currently available.)

Parking description

Plentiful free street parking in the area (just be mindful of street cleaning signs.) If you arrive early please do not knock or otherwise disturb the studio. You will be let in at your booking time.

Lighting description

This is not a "natural light" studio. But we do receive daylight through East facing windows during morning hours. These windows can be blacked out. This is not a 100% blackout space during daytime hours. Some light comes in through overhead sky lights.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

This is not a dedicated sound stage. Some outside street noise gets in. But it is typically a fairly quiet space.

General Rules

No charge for simple footsteps on white cyc. Minimum $25 cleaning/repaint charge for scuffs, marks, stains, etc. Dogs and other pets are a violation of our lease, please leave them home. Noise must be kept reasonable. No drums/live instrument playing, screaming, excessively loud music playback allowed. NO glitter, powder, oils, smoke effects, body painting, hair cutting or other messy items without prior permission. Minimum $40 cleaning/damages fee for use of the above without permission. No smoking of any kind inside the building Do not bother neighboring businesses or tenants, knock on their doors, or otherwise interrupt them

All ages are allowed in the space

Production insurance is not required

Furniture and decorations may be moved

Furniture can be moved around the space as needed

Smoke machines are allowed

Nudity is allowed

Security cameras and recording devices

Looped security camera outside at entrance and on locked areas inside. Footage is only reviewed in event of dispute or damages.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
