This space is located in Meatpacking District, NYC. A minute from Highline Park, Chelsea Market and Whitney Museum surrounded by famous restaurants and shops. The space is about 1,600SF with huge windows allowing northern light illumination throughout the day. It has private bathroom and separate kitchen. The space is on the 2nd floor of a very well kept elevated building. The space has been hosting well known fashion brands' presentation, buyers appointments, temporary showroom, bridal parties and birthday party events. This space is a perfect fit for potential clients who plan to have more intimate and sophisticated events. Outside catering is welcomed, only exception of "Frying food." We have a small kitchenette where food can be prepared. No oven or gas stove. Moderate level of music and alcohol serve is highly appreciated. NO UNDER AGE. Legal enforcement is to involved. NO NARCOTICS or ANY KIND of SMOKING allows us to terminate the rental immediately. In addition to rental service, we also do provide optional event photography or customized portrait session during the event is being proceeded, in order to enhance the event to be memorable. Hourly rate is $200 and minimum hours of rental is 4 hours. Over time charge is 1.5 times of regular rate and it should be discussed prior. Daily rental rate is $1,700 a day, starting from 9AM till 7PM for 10 hours. Rental hours are calculated from load in and complete load out. We can help to expedite equipment upon clients requests on client's expenses. Small to mid sized productions only. Decorative furniture in the space can't be removed. However it could be rearranged per client's needs. Clients agree to treat any furniture or facilities with care. Any damage caused by negligence will be asked for its compensation. Inspection will be held at the point of event completion. Opening or closing of the space during the rental period will be discussed before event begins. Client agrees to keep space clean through out the rental period. The space needs to be cleaned out after load out and we will be happy to assist you on this. Cancellation : 90+ prior to Booking start time 75% of refund 89-30 calendar days prior to Booking start time 50% of refund 29-8 calendar days prior to Booking start time 25% of refund 7 calendar days or less prior to Booking start time non-refundable
The space is GREAT. Its a white box, so it's very easy to decorate. We celebrated a Bridal Shower. I had about 32 ladies. There is a full kitchen, bathroom, coat racks. We had 4, 60" round tables w/ 40 chairs and tons of space leftover. They have a Bose speaker which we were able to use via Bluetooth. They have a projector for use (which I didn't need). No complaints what so ever. Peerspace was able to help me with chair/table rentals and they arranged directly with Hyuna, the owner of the space. Hyuna was super helpful and accommodating. Her colleague stayed with me the first 2 hours, then came back 2 hours before the end of the event. Meetpacking area is pretty bad for parking - some folks found parking 2-3 blocks away, I didn't see any parking lots either (unless you use Chelsea Piers which is a few blocks away) so be mindful of that when booking your event.
I had to plan an event in this space from all the way out here in San Francisco and Hyuna could not have been a more gracious host. She handled all my questions and requests with a ton of kindness and patience. Her help did not go unnoticed and without her, this event would not have come together as easily as it did. I rented this beautiful and intimate space for my mother's surprise 60th birthday party. Everyone had an amazing time and Hyuna was professional, flexible and more than helpful. She accepted my deliveries and offered to help if needed. I would highly recommend this space.
Hyuna is really responsive and a great host. She tried her best to accommodate our event and is so flexible with our changes. Her studio is clean, bright and very lovely. I would definitely book Hyuna's venue again in the future.
I must say that the owner Hyuna was very helpful. She helped setting up and stood by throughout the evening. The location was very nice, clean and well organized for our party. As we cleaned and packed up Hyuna was right there to help. This location was a beautiful setting and was well situaited by Hyuna. If you need to have a party this location was a great booking!
