Nicole D. booked a baby shower for 45 people
We used the gallery space to host a co-ed baby shower for 35 people. The space was clean and open when we arrived, which made it easy to set up tables how we wanted. There were plenty of metal folding chairs available for us to use. We brought a few of our own smaller round tables, but there were also plenty of rectangular tables supplied by the venue. These were great for setting up food /beverage areas. We appreciated the options of being able to offer our guests beer & wine without having to get costly permits that are required by other venues and community centers in the Santa Rosa area. We rented both the indoor and outdoor space, but due to rain the day of, we spent most of our time inside. The inside space is detached from the outside space by long hallway. It is definitely nice to have the outside option, especially if you have a group larger than 40. Best to set up a time to view the space before your event to decide of it is right for you. I would suggest the inside for a sighligtly classier event & the outside for a more laid-back event. The art on the walls provided a great backdrop for our event. Our guests loved walking around and looking at all the local art. The building was a bit cold when we arrived, but 3 heaters were provided and it warmed up quickly in the main event space. There is a kitchen space and bathrooms which are very useful for any type of event. Simmon was great! Very helpful and easy to communicate with before the event & the day of. We very much appreciate his patience with our group. Would definitely recommend this space to anyone looking to save headache & money on a venue or just looking for a great community event space for your next event or fundraiser! Look forward to having another event there in the future!

Emily Menjou T. booked a baby shower for 30 people
Rented the patio space for a baby shower for 30 guests, and the guests loved it. Simmon was very kind and responsive. It was a hot day so access to a standing umbrella at least to cover the food would be helpful as a recommendation. Also, we were surprised when we arrived to see a pile of ladders and a building awning laying in the space (these weren’t there when we first saw the space and apparently were there because the building is being painted). It’s a shabby chic place and we made it work (used the awning to cover the ladders for example) but we had to work our booties off before the event. All in all, this is a great space for a casual event but wear flats to set up as the space requires a little work up front.
