Host your event or meeting in our open, creative meeting space with modern layout located in Downtown SF, in the Financial District. Seven Large Meeting Rooms (Classrooms) are available, identical in terms of amenities and layouts, subject to availability: Classroom 1: 24 chairs with desks Classroom 2: 24 chairs with desks Classroom 3: 24 chairs with desks Classroom 4: 24 chairs with desks Classroom 5: 24 chairs with desks Classroom 6: 24 chairs with desks Classroom 7: 24 chairs with desks Amenities include: • High-speed internet • Reception and check-in area • Coffee and water • AV in each room, with overhead projector and single input sound capabilities • Catering delivery & setup is allowed in our space (all outside vendors must file a certificate of insurance with building)
- We reserve the right to re-assign you to a classroom of comparable size, if needed. - Sound levels must not be disruptive to classes. - Signage and decoration must be free-standing and approved by staff. Nothing can be taped to the walls. - We cannot accept bookings that end past 5:30pm
This is a great space and location! It is super hip and the chalk on the walls is great! They have a projector and mics that you can use as part of the rental. They were super helpful and had everything set before we got there. They made it super easy to host an event there! Overall, we can't wait to go back and our attendees loved the space!
Working with General Assembly was a pleasure. Michelle Matt really took great care of us and ensured that everything was setup and executed perfectly. The space is great - the A/V is exceptional. One note on the A/V - fortunately, most of our team were Mac users (connect to A/V through Airplay). After several attempts with windows laptops - we were unsuccessful connecting to the A/V - we just gave up. The staff tried very diligently to help us, but, we couldn't make it work. The General Assembly space is used by students all day and all evening - just something to be aware of. There were lots of students around as we were conducting our business meetings. They were very respectful of our business meeting and especially the catering we brought in for the group (they left the catering alone until we said "go for it..."). I would highly recommend working with General Assembly. Its a vibrant, energetic, cool space in a prime location - and the staff is very helpful.
