Escape the cold of San Francisco summers and head over to the East Bay for the perfect location for a bridal shower, afternoon tea party or offsite. Impressive, modern and light filled home just underwent a complete high-end remodel in 2014. The home has over 4,500 square feet with high ceilings and open floor plan with views of the Claremont Hills from all rooms. Living spaces have two fireplaces with custom tile work and multiple decks. A fabulous new kitchen, new baths, and refurbished hardwood floors. The space is luxuriously appointed with designer furniture, 80" TV and a Steinway piano. You will have access to 3 floors of open floor plan: 1. Entry level: Perfect for greeting guests, coat check, offer them a drink, mingle briefly and invite them to proceed downstairs to the main entertaining level. 2. Main Entertaining Level: Large open floor plan including living room, entertaining area, kitchen & dining and 2 adjoining decks. 3. Open Plan & Bar: Head down 2 flights of stairs (skipping 1 floor where our private bedrooms are situated) to an open plan area with a bar. This space opens up to a large garden for outdoor entertaining. * You will have access to 3 bathrooms, one on each floor. Large multiple terraced garden consisting of 5 separate decks. Lots of room to break out into groups and assemble together for a full group session. Surround yourself in a beautifully landscaped garden among lavender, salvia, roses, blueberries, gardenias and magnolias. We also work with a caterer who is very familiar with the property and can offer a custom menu for your event. Available: Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm We can offer the space outside of the advertised hours at the rate of 1.5X per hour, subject to availability. Please enquire if you need to access the space outside the availability window. The pricing only includes access to the space. Please add on a $20/guest fee to determine the full rate of your reservation. This charge will be billed post event once we have a final headcount for your event.
NOTE: All bookings incur a one-time cleaning fee of $300 added to the total. Please place all trash in the appropriate receptacles prior to leaving. Fee covers cleaning services as well as trash pick-up. We also charge a surcharge of $20/guest over 12 people. 1. Please leave the garden in the same condition as you found it. 2. Please do not damage plants and use the pathways. 3. Please put all trash in the appropriate receptacles. 4. Strictly no smoking or illicit activities. Please respect the space as it is our home and we are sharing it with you. Hour normal hours for this space is: 10am-5pm Monday-Thursday. Please enquire if you wish to access the space outside of these hours.
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
