Valid Monday through Friday Only EXCLUDES: Holidays and December // RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR EVENTS // 1. ALL RENTALS MUST BE REMOVED POST EVENT. 2. No animals (other than service/guide dogs) shall be brought into or kept in the Venue or the Licensed Premises. 3. NO OPEN FLAME. NO CANDLES OR PROPANE OF ANY KIND. THIS INCLUDES HEATERS AND COOKING DEVICES. (ELECTRIC COOKING DEVICES ARE ACCEPTABLE) 4. NO FRYING ALLOWED. NOT EVEN WITH AN ELECTRIC FRYER. 5. WICK STERNOS ARE OK WITH A FIRE EXTINGUISHER PRESENT. NO GEL STERNOS ALLOWED. 6. NO DUCT TAPE. MUST USE GAFFER OR PAINTERS TAPE. 7. 44” Aisles maintained for walk-way. This includes 44” Aisles for dinner tables, lounge furniture vignettes, etc. 8. Table linens are not allowed outside on the terraces unless the linens are secured with a tie or are spandex linens. The wind outside on the terraces is often strong and we need linens to be properly secured. Tables without linens are preferred. 9. No dangerous, incendiary, combustible or explosive objects or material shall be brought into or kept in the Venue or the Licensed Premises, except as permitted by law and the subject to OUE’s approval which may be withheld in its sole discretion. 10. No unusual or objectionable odors shall permeate in or emanate from the Licensed Premises. 11. Entry to Building and Event Area shall be made only through doors or other designated entryways assigned for your event purpose by Owner for User’s use. 12. Vendors / Subcontractors area will be only in an area designed by Owner for such purpose. Personnel will not be allowed to wander throughout the Building and are expected to remain in the assigned area. All vendors and their staff must arrive via Loading Dock for security check in. The loading dock is located on Hope Place, the street behind the US Bank Tower. 13. No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere in the Building. No other odors shall be emitted which are perceptible outside the Event Area. 14. All electrical requirements of User must be discussed prior with Owner. Any deviation must be approved by Owner prior to utilizing any building electrical outlet. Building Engineering must be present during all wiring and removal of all wiring to the Building’s Electrical Panel. 15. No dollies and/or equipment may be trucked, dragged, slid or otherwise transported up or down the stairs of the Building in any manner that may cause damage by marring, scratching or chipping, etc. All items must be hand carried or transported by an elevator designated by Owner. 16. Operation of elevators will be performed by Owner’s personnel unless otherwise authorized by Owner. Elevators shall, under no circumstances, be subjected to overloading. A building “freight elevator” may be available for heavy loads if required. 17. Floor loading shall not exceed 70 pounds per square foot. No equipment is to be dragged, slid, or transported across the floor in any manner that may cause damage such as marring, scratching, chipping, etc. All such items are to be either hand carried or transported by wheel (i.e., hand-trucks or dollies). 18. Personnel may not lean against ironwork or banisters or subject them to “loading” of any type. No equipment shall be placed upon or slid on top of the banisters and/or railing. 19. The Building’s parking facilities may be used by User and User’s Vendors for installation and set-up and removal only upon consent by Owner, and then subject to User’s payment of the prevailing daily parking rate, unless otherwise arranged by Owner. No parking of equipment and/or vehicles in other areas of the Building is permitted. Owner may require parking to be paid for as part of the Event Usage Fee. 20. No boisterous, violent or reckless behavior is permitted. Any person who appears intoxicated or conducts themselves in a manner which, in the sole opinion and at the sole discretion of Owner or Owner’s Representative, is unacceptable, will be immediately evicted from the Event Area. User will accept and bear all responsibility for the consequences and actions arising from the eviction of such persons. 21. No screaming or yelling will be permitted in or outside of the Building. 22. No vibrations shall be caused that affect the Building or are perceptible outside the Event Area. 23. Absolutely no amplified sound without prior written approval. 24. Sound check is not allowed before 6pm on Monday through Friday. 25. User shall comply with all state and Federal laws, rules, policies and regulations and all ordinances and policies of the City and County of Los Angeles or any other governmental agency having jurisdiction over the Building or any part thereof or use thereof. 26. No changes to floor plans without prior written approval. 27. No tolerance for underage drinking. Owner reserves the right to deny access to anyone who is underage and under the influence of drugs or alcohol. 28. The following items are not permitted: a. Fireworks b. Laser Pointers c. Beach Balls d. Compressed Air Horns e. Aerosol Spray Cans or Markers f. Any other item deemed unacceptable by building management g. All weapons, including firearms, ammunition, knives, swords, scissors, mace, incendiary devices, any dangerous items and any dual-use items that could be dangerous are strictly prohibited in the USBT Building. License to Carry (fire arms) does not allow you permission to carry on the O-Deck, NO GUNS of any kind. h. Cans, bottles, flasks, etc. i. Professional cameras, equipment and camera stands: mono-pods, bi-pods and tri-pods without written permission by building management j. Sports equipment such as skateboards, roller skates, golf clubs, baseball bats, hockey sticks, baseballs, footballs, tennis balls, etc. k. Costumes and masks l. Confetti, Glitter, Sand, Wedding Rice or other small particles 29. In the event that any of these items are revealed during a search, guest will be permitted to return to their vehicle with the item or dispose of it. Owner does not have an area to “check” guests’ personal belongings and will assume no responsibility for them. Owner has the sole right to determine what type of pre-event search or screening will be conducted. 30. All exits shall remain free and clear of obstructions and clearly marked. 31. Clear and unobstructed aisles shall be maintained for each exit. 32. All cabling must be tapped, matted, or flown to prevent tripping hazards. 33. No decorations without prior approval. 34. No ins and outs. 35. Guests are not allowed to carry out alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages or food, not even water. 36. Do not store boxes or equipment in the stairwells. The stairwells are not storage. 37. If you’re selling tickets, charging admission, taking donations, or have a cash bar, you must use a licensed bar service or caterer to sell / serve alcohol. The licensee or client is not allowed to bring in their own alcohol. Failure to comply will result in an event shutdown with no refund. The caterer or bar service must obtain a daily special license – “ABC-221” to sell or serve alcohol on the Premises. This license must be acquired 30 days prior to your Event Date. The caterer or service is solely responsible to apply for and obtain this license within such timeframe. 38. User shall comply with all state and Federal laws, rules, policies and regulations and all ordinances and policies of the City and County of Los Angeles or any other governmental agency having jurisdiction over the Venue or any part thereof or use thereof. 39. User and its Event attendees shall comply with our Conduct Rules and Regulations. These Event Rules and Regulations are subject to change without notice. These Event Rules and Regulations may be rescinded, altered or waived by OUE at any time, when in OUE’s judgment it is deemed necessary, desirable or proper for OUE’s best interests or for the best interests of the tenants and other occupants of the Venue, and no rescission, alteration or waiver of any rule or regulation in favor of one tenant or occupant shall operate as a rescission, alteration or waiver in favor of any other tenant or occupant. OUE shall not be responsible to User for the nonobservance or violation by any other tenant or occupant of any of the rules or regulations.
