About the Space

Airy, quiet, natural light studio in Dogpatch, perfect for photo and film shoots and other production-oriented uses. Use of basic grip, covered parking for up to 3 vehicles, and many additional niceties included. Load-in is a snap with our loading dock and freight elevator. Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Hand Sanitizer

Yes, I would book again.

John was a great host. He was communicative & helpful ahead of our shoot. The space was clean and well supplied. We loved the ability to have bright light streaming in then transition the space to darkness for projector use. His space is conveniently located next to the freight elevators for easy access and gear load in.

We have booked John's space in the Dogpatch for two consecutive days and just completed day one yesterday. I cant say enough wonderful things about my experience thus far! After a trying time during the pandemic, we sadly had to leave the Bay Area and all our clients here. This has been a trying time as we are starting our business over completely on the other side of the country. We are having to fly back the Bay a lot for the time being where still have work. I was apprehensive shooting at a space I had never seen before. But gosh, this space could not have been more perfect. John is extremely kind and the space is absolutely wonderful. It is so very clean ... beyond organized and light filled. I was truly so impressed. I have shot at various studios throughout the Bay Area and this has been my favorite thus far. Thank you John for providing such a beautiful space for a photographer like me to visit! Warmly, Tara

Wonderful! John was so helpful and the space was beautiful. It was exactly what we needed. It had the right kind of artist vibe. We will definitely be renting this space again in the near future.
