About the Space
We have three airy, private daylight studios in Dogpatch with a panoramic view of Pier 70 & the Bay, perfect for photo and film shoots and other production-oriented uses. Use of basic grip, covered parking for up to 3 vehicles, and many additional niceties included. Load-in is a snap with our loading dock and freight elevator. Now styling prep, wardrobe and merch, hair and makeup, creative and production, kid-wrangling, and photo teams can each have their own area, making for a calm, smooth production. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.

We used the spaces for a one day symposium and it was perfect. The bright natural light and clean space made it easy to set up the rooms to fit our group, John is on sight and available to assist with any need or answer questions. Food delivery easy and smooth. Wifi was a little spotty at times which created a few presentation issues, but nothing that couldn't be worked around. Overall, I give the space (and John) two enthusiastic thumbs up.

John made renting and using the space so easy! There are so many resources within the space for whatever you are planning (tables, chairs, sinks, furniture, shelves, carts, etc). John is such a great host! Easy to communicate with, checked in with us the day before, and was so helpful on-site- guiding us through the freight elevator, lending us carts, and checking on us! Highly recommend!

I would say this : “Our time at Lux Studio was seamless. For starters, the natural light was incredible. Looking to shoot with natural light, this studio is for you. Studios A, B and C allowed for plenty of space. Studio included a lot of the essentials - H&MU station, basic photo EQ (apple boxes, c-stands, sand bags). Complimentary water and kitchen supplies. Location is easy to get to. And if you book with Lux Studio, make sure to hit up the Neighborhood Bakery just below the studio. The pastries are incredible!”
