Please note that ALL GUESTS ATTENDING AN EVENT MUST BE 21 OR OLDER. Hosting private events at a location of your choice is always an option as we offer edu-tasting off-site as well. There are restrooms on each floor and an ADA-compliant elevator if necessary. While we are located on the top floor of 415 Grand Avenue, ADA Access is available at the 417 Grand Avenue entrance. Two hour metered parking is available on Grand Avenue and the surrounding streets and is enforced until 8pm. Additional affordable parking is available at the 24 hour garage located one block north of the school at 329 Miller Avenue. Spaces are $0.50 per hour. Public Transportation The San Bruno and South San Francisco BART Stations and the South San Francisco Ferry Terminal are each two miles away. The city of South San Francisco offers a free Shuttle service from BART to City Hall. The South San Francisco Caltrain Station is a 10 minute walk through the downtown area. www.511.org will help you plan your public transit to our venue.
Attendee Age Requirements Any guest attending the event must be 21 years of age or older and present ID upon checkin. Final Count An exact guest count must be provided to the Events Manager by 5pm, 7 days prior to the event. Should no guaranteed guest count be provided, the highest estimated guest count will serve as the guarantee. If attendance falls below the guaranteed number, the client will be charged for the guaranteed number. If attendance exceeds the guaranteed number, the client will be charged for the actual number of guests. Likewise, if the anticipated guest count increases within 5 business days prior to the event, the highest guest count given to the Events Manager will serve as the guarantee. Once guarantees are made, please be mindful we may not be able to fully accommodate last minute requests. Corkage / Plating Fees Food and/or alcoholic beverages may not be brought on premises without the permission of the host. Corkage and plating fees may apply. Over 700 selections of wine & beer available. Work with a Master Sommelier to make your selections. Spirits not allowed on site. Alcohol Policy We reserve the right to refuse service for any guest that is visibly intoxicated. Client may conduct no retail alcohol sales transactions on SFWS premise. We are available to act as retailer to conduct on-premise and off-premise sales transactions with advanced notice. Certificate of Insurance Requirement A certificate of insurance for the event listing us as an additional insured is required for events held at our facility. We can make recommendations for special event policies should Client not have an existing policy.
